Salto is a great place to meet a friend for a coffee, grab some internet, or a quick bite before a hike. Their vegan options are pretty limited, but they can always make something (I usually get an avo toast or the Mediterranean sandwich without cheese) and they do have some nice vegan banana breads and carrot cakes that are made by a third party. This is a lovely coffee shop and restaurant in the Rockies. I've been there is in the summer and the winter. The coffee and food are excellent. In the summer it is delightful to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. In the winter, sit inside and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere.
