Every once in a while you have the fortune to find a really, really good hole on the wall places that genuinely good, authentic food. This is one of those places. From the moment you walk into this very unassuming establishment located in a strip mall with a Vietnamese restaurant having all of the attention, the real gem is this place. The furniture seems like it hasn't had an overhaul budget for the last 2 decades and the walls are visibly homemade, but so is the food and that is the great thing about this place. Every single dish from the apps to the last course are 5/5 stars. I will say nothing else to not spoil the experience. Highly recommend it.

A hole-in-the-wall style Mexican restaurant. It advertises itself as "the best Honduran restaurant in Northglenn ". That might not sound like a powerful statement given that they are probably the ONLY Honduran restaurant in Northglenn. But the food was tasty enough and an excellent value that they might well be the best such restaurant in a much wider area. Portions were very generous and it was interesting to see the menu differences between Honduran and Mexican fare. The use of eggs and cabbage in many dishes is but one example. The Mexican dishes were excellent too. The chips were very fresh and locally made and came with the dinner. They were covered with salsa and cheese and were a nice surprise. We'll definitely be going back!

Diamond in the rough, I was getting my windows tinted at Car Toys. So I decided to take a walk and look for breakfast. I found Carmen’s Kitchen, I guess it used to go by a different name. They have Mexican and Honduran food. I ordered Huevos rancheros and a Honduran quesadilla looking thing. The only reason I have this 4 stars was because the eggs were a tad salty. But everything really had great flavor. I will be coming back to try some other stuff. Their prices are fair. Definitely a can’t miss if you’re in the area.

The people here are super nice but, we waited a very long time for our food to come out at least 40+ minutes. It was just us of 4 and another tabel that was already eating. After we ordered other people came in and they were served immediately ( they probably ordered ahead of time or something because they were served within 10 min of sitting down). Anyway we patiently waited for a big disappointment, everything we ordered was salty. Maybe they were having a bad day because I see everyone elses comments that they like the food but no, it was way to salty for our taste buds. The waitress came to ask if everything was okay and unfortunately I said yes because I hadn't tasted the food, I could have said something after I tasted it and I'm sure they would of made new food for us, but were were already running late to our movie date so we just payed and left all the food.

Wow, what a nice change! Last time I came in this space it was definitely under different management. The room was dark, grungy, and the food was only OK. Now, this place is bright, clean, and has a really unique menu for a Mexican restaurant with great staff to back it up.I LOVE the chips! The orange salsa and crumbled cojita style cheese on top was so much fun!I got a simple carnitas taco plate that was deliciously authentic. Served with radishes, onion, and cilantro with a wonderful green salsa on the side. Amazing flavor. I could have eaten 2 plates. My partner got a bean burrito that was also really tasty. We were treated to a custardy banana bread for dessert which was a lovely treat. This place is a new favorite and I can't wait to try out some new things! Will definitely come back!

The food is a bit unique, so it is a great place to eat if you are adventurous. I ate a smothered burrito and was very happy.

First time trying Honduran food and it was delicious. The waitress was so nice and helpful in recommending dishes and talking about the favorite dishes and most common dishes in Honduras. The prices were reasonable and the service was pretty quick too! I'll be back to try more!

Refreshingly different than your standard Mexican restaurant. Even the tortilla chips are different - sprinkled with sauce and cheese.
