2nd time we've tried Itacate; each time, completely different opinions. Several months ago, the food was delicious. The salsa was spicy, the queso was good, and the food had so much flavor. This time, the salsa was just cold without any spice or flavor, queso had the consistency of gravy and was not good, and food was bland. Very disappointing experience today.

Ordered take out here for the first time this evening and must say everything was delicious. The tacos, salsa, and refried beans were hands down some of the best I’ve EVER eaten. Cant wait to try everything on the menu!

First time visit but definitely not the last. Started off with some delicious queso and a couple margaritas. So good! We ordered the birria tacos and Baja steak. The Arrachera steak was phenomenal! We were stuffed full by the end but wanted to try their desserts. We took home a lava cake and their new horchata bites. The menu is full of things we want to try. Can't wait to go back!
Very expensive menu items. The food was just “okay” — there’s a lot of better tasting authentic Mexican food all around this area. The service was very good and the restaurant itself is very clean.
