Not only was everything we tried ( I'm seriously going to dream about the harissa eggplant fries) but the attention to detail and the fresh flavors were out of this world! Additionally, special attention was paid to our food allergies and It was a huge weight off our shoulders to not have to worry about that! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it! “What a phenomenal and unique experience we had at the Aspen Lodge! The atmosphere, music, service, and food all exceeded expectations. If you love Christmas, you have got to check this place out. Likewise, if metal music makes you smile, I'm sure you will get along great with the friendly and welcoming owner whom we had the pleasure of visiting with. He is also the chef, and we were delighted by the perfectly charred steak and melty cheese he served up in our philly cheesesteaks. There are a variety of more European foods in the menu a well. Our Gyro plate and appetizer were incredibly flavorful! Everything was served hot and delicious. “My husband and I ate here for the first time — it was a drizzly day with reports that Denver was going to get a big snow so the restaurant was open. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and my husband had the gyro plate. It came with a small salad, lots of rice and a large portion of chicken (or gyros) and 2 pieces of pita bread. Everything was tasty and delicious, made especially for us. It also came with a green hot sauce that is made in house that was really good! We will come back again soon! It’s located near 5 points, and the restaurant itself is divey, but don’t let that dissuade you from trying it!“
“Our group went to Ash’Kara to celebrate our friends birthday and we had the best time! We were seated outside on the patio but were kept warm with the heaters.The food was amazing! We shared the feta dip, hummus and the hot cheese one (forget the name) with Pita and Roti which was all delicious and we each ordered our own entrees -Salmon, pasta, lamb - all were phenomenal! And on top of the food, we had the BEST server, Jake. He was attentive, engaging and gave great recommendations on the food. Also provide me with a couple different mocktail options which was lovely. His service was outstanding and above and beyond. We also received a dessert on the house (the Baklava was dynamite!) and when we got champagne to toast our friend’s birthday, he brought me a glass of sprite so I could be included in the toast!Amazing food, amazing service - highly recommend and looking forward to returning!“
“Umm, WOW WHAT a find during our Denver stopover! Mauricio guided us through our first bowl experience. All i can say is YUM YUM YUM! It's quick, healthy and tasty. What more could i ask for!? Loved the mix of lentils, rice, greens, red pepper hummus, and toppings galore. The dressings aren't even necessary, but don't miss them. It's a party in your mouth. Bravo CAVA!!!!“

“So glad this place doesn't close early like many other places! First time here and definitely won't be the last! The food and service is superb! Overall, I'm extremely impressed! The restaurant is very clean, and even the bathroom is clean and fancy! Nice high quality, clean, and fancy dishes,cups, and silverware ? The waitress even offered some complimentary Turkish coffee, which was very nice! The Gyro Meat and Kafta kabob was exquisitely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Generous portion sizes. “It was only ok this time. I arrived about 4:10pm and the guy at the register wasn't very friendly. I wanted to swap the Rice for French fries and pay the difference, but he said that wasn't possible. They only spoke Spanish in the kitchen and he couldn't explain that to them. Later tho he did communicate with the kitchen staff in Spanish!?At 4:15 he started to close up the Restaurant. I guess, they are only open to 4:30pm. So not really open for dinner.The Gyros meat was not like any Gyros I know from Greece or any European Middle Eastern places :-(I had the Gyros wrap here before and it was pretty good, but by the afternoon the "meat pieces" they put in my dinner were all dried out :-( Everything else tho was pretty tasty. Just disappointed I never see them grill the meat here as it is usually done originally. I will be back, but probably only for lunch when everything is still more fresh.“
“We needed somewhere to eat lunch after a trip to Costco business. We had heard good things about this restaurant form friends so we wanted to try it out. There are tables to sit and be served, or you can order takeout. We sat inside the restaurant. They have authentic/themed music playing. We ordered the gyros plate combo and the chicken shawarma sandwich. The gyros plate combo is a huge portion! you get rice and hummus and pita and gyros. It was all very good. But the Chicken Shawarma is the best. Just the sandwich is a huge portion. Ask for feta cheese on the pita tough because it does not come with it and it adds so much! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce (Tahini?) on the pita was a perfect amount and a perfect taste. I even added some of the hummus (so good) from the gyros plate and added it to my shawarma and it was even better! Highly recommended for amazing Mediterranean food“
“I'll agree with the other reviewer; location isn't as great as other CAVA locations I've been to, but that doesn't get in the way of this being a tasty, pretty healthy, and (relatively) cheap meal. Getting extra falafel and all the veggies usually gives me enough to create two meals from one bowl, not a bad value“
“This place is phenomenal! Great food and service every time. Food tastes delicious. But this last time the gyro pita blew my mind. It was one of the best. It tasted delicious and the little attention to details and way they do the sauce and cheese is awesome. I don't think I'll ever have a gyro like that anywhere else ever again. He is also willing to make vegan deserts when requested in advance. The atmosphere is comfortable and my husband and I always leave satisfied. “I ordered my food online Sep. 25th. About $72 worth food. When I ordered it they sent email and it will take about 10 min. After 10min (7:37pm) they call me and say they are out of rice and feta fries and they asked me if I wanted a refund or substitute regular fries so I asked for a refund. They said it will take about 3 to 4 business days. We called several times to fix it after waiting a week to see it refund and the manager never called me back. I requested a charge back with my credit card and they claimed the order was fulfilled.. Very bad experience with management not taking care of refunded orders due to their running out of items.“
“I went in to pick up and online order, everyone was welcoming from the start. The supervisor and team were quick to fix an online order that I had messed up. I had to get back to work so I didn't catch the supervisor's name, but he and the team were very friendly and helpful! On top of that, the food I ordered, Greek salad with grilled Lamb, was delicious!“
