He gave us a lot of good feedback on what to check out in the area, answered all of our wine questions, and honestly - we joined their wine club because of him explaining all the benefits of it! Can't wait to go back during harvest! We highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped in the Palisade Carboy Winery tasting room in late January and LOVED our experience! We decided to visit in the off-season and so glad we did. We loved spending time chatting with the tasting specialist and getting to know more about the winery itself, the processes, grapes - everything! We were there on a late Sunday afternoon with our little one and it was quiet and just lovely. Would love to come back and visit during the warmer months too, though I kind of love the intimate nature of visiting when it’s much less crowded. Also don’t miss their Rosé - one of the most gorgeous colors I’ve ever seen! Will be back!

Their elevated patio has extraordinary views for which the wines were a perfect compliment. Carboy is a must on your winery visits to the Grand Valley AVA!

I have ridden my bike by here countless times, so I was so excited to attend the packet pickup for the Tour de Vineyards. Yummy appetizers and delicious wine. Will definitely be back for more next year. Highly recommend.

Warning: There are hidden fees associated with using their inside facilities to have a drink. A "retail" bottle of wine marked $23.00 ended up as a $33.00 bottle. We were told its because we drank it in their establishment. There was a very long, hard to understand rationale as to why they didn't just list the upcharged $33. I will not recommend or return here again. An awful experience.
WARNING, the price you see on the menu at each table is NOT the cost of the wine. They hide large fees that you don't see until you pay at the register. The menu at the table says a bottle of Rose is $23, but unbenounced to you, if you drink it there, the cost is $33. Once you pay, they pull out a hidden menu at the counter and tell you there's a 31% upcharge for a bottle when you drink it on premises. This is the ONLY winery in the Palisade area that does this. They tried to rationalize it as "they are like a restaurant, and when you buy wine at a restaurant they upcharge you". They also said the upcharge is for table service, yet we sat there for over 5 minutes with nobody offering service so we went up & ordered from the counter& brought our glasses & bottle to our table. It's a scam. Just charge a normal fee instead of surprising your customers with an upcharge at the register.

This place was one of our favorites for sure. Really good service and awesome wine. I played football with my kid and buddy in the back of the winery on the lawn with amazing views. Highly recommended to come here and try the wine. Live music was amazing too.

Went here with a large group of gals on a pedicab tour and it was lovely! The view of the vineyards from their large patio is to die for, so gorgeous. We hung out in a large hangout room which was nice! The wine and charcuterie boards here were delicious. Great place!
