We had a wonderful time at Caroline's. It was our first time there. Lovely atmosphere with great service. Lupita knew the wine and food menu very well and answered all of our questions. The food was AMAZING!! We will be back and we highly recommend!!! Thank you for making our Anniversary special!!!

Our server, Lupita, was superb. Very friendly and personable. She recommended some wines and food items. She kept a watchful eye to make sure the pacing of the food was perfect. The wingspan red blend was very good. The tempura shrimp appetizer was delicious. The main entrees were served promptly after we had finished our salads. The Elk loin was delicious as was the pozole. The salmon was a very large portion and the vegetables were delicious. The desserts were very yummy. The peach cobbler was the right size and the caramel apple pie was scrumptious. Overall good value for food and service Would come back again

We went there for a new years dinner. The food was good, personally some of the cooking style wasn't my favorite. My steak was cooked just right, however it needed to be trimmed as I trimmed a bunch of gristle off of it. The mashed potatoes had some pretty big chunks of potatoes that needed to be cooked more. My wifes summer squash also was a tad under cooked so it was still a little hard. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

I ordered my meat cooked medium and received rare. It was impossible to cut even with a sharp knife they provided . The squash was cut in slices one of which was hard and the other was burnt. The potatoes had no flavor and were very lumpy. Overall, I did not eat my meal and no one bothered to ask why.

Limited menu. Split the hamburger and fries with husband. It was good and great service. Drinks where a little pricey so just had a beer.

We were a table of 5, our server did a very good job. The food was good, but the wine was better. This was a special occasion for us, as we had a small family reunion. Lovely room, nice surroundings.

Visiting the area for Peach Festival. Staying at Wine Country Inn. Reservation at 6:00. Seated promptly. Service very good. Given good recommendations for pairing wine with food. I had special - halibut with local vegetables. Spouse had seafood and pasta. Seafood was good. She didn't care for the type of pasta. Overall a good experience. We would go there again.

Nice atmosphere, varied choices on menu including desserts like peach bread pudding and pies. Nice happy hour. Attentive service. Enjoy dining here!

Just an overall very pleasant experience. The wait staff professional an friendly. Lupita was helpful with my selection and attentive. Window tale with a great view of the Book Cliffs.

Really nice surprise. The dining room has large windows and views of the mountains. Service was excellent and friendly. The food was delicious. We had the steak, vegetable ragout and the peach bread pudding.

I wasn't sure about this place after reading some reviews, but my husband and I had a delicious experience. We ordered a hamburger with a side of sweet potato fries (note I'm not a big fries eater, but the burger and fries were truly delicious). The burger was cooked to perfection, the slices of tomato were juicy and ripe and the fries were crispy with a creamy interior. We ordered a slice of the peach pie for dessert. The huge slice was topped with a crumble, side of whipped cream, along with small balls (molecular process?) of juicy peach balls. We came on the early side for happy hour (2 specialty drinks for the price of one- 9.00) two sangria flavors (green apple or peach)...whilst a tad sweet, we're good. The peach is less sweet than the green apple. If there are two of you ordering, order one per person and you can return for your second one even after happy hour ends.

Settled on this place looking for a nice steakhouse dinner for my friends and I. This place is quite small, attached to the hotel near another vineyard. We sat as the largest table in the place with six people, and were in the center of the dining room. Really nice view out the window. The service was good. The onion soup and elk loin that a couple of people in my party ordered was tasty. That sort of concludes the positive notes I have on dinner here. As for the negatives, there were several. The primary issue was the food - my vegetarian friend ordered their only vegetarian main, and it simply did not taste good. The "ragout" was not a ragout and was also a bit gross looking and tasting. What little flavor it had was not good flavor. Don't know if it was an off night or someone used something past its best date, but it was off the mark, simply put. She sent it back, and our server was able to get her some mashed potatoes instead, as there were no other meatless options. She was not charged for anything but her drink. As for the meat that was on the table, the New York Strip steaks ordered were both a bit overdone on the outside, and the sides were greasy. Not sure the meat was rested at all before it was put on the plate so it was sort of swimming in its juice, along with the sides. The entire menu felt to me a bit quasi-fine dining. Like some of the technique in the cooking was there, but a lot of the composition just felt strange and like the chef was guessing. Can't say I recommend this place based on the prices compared to the quality. I like the old school steakhouse vibe and the size of the place, but the menu just lacks cohesion and execution.

Great place to stay and the restaurant is fabulous. Everything on the menu is incredible. We were there for my birthday in April and now for my wife's birthday and her twin. We made it a point on our road trip to stay at the hotel and eat at Caroline's.

Food and atmosphere was great but service was very rushed. There only 3 tables being served but the server dropped our main course while I was still eating my soup and my wife her salad. He actually moved my soup and placed my sinner in it's place. Unsettling!

We loved our dinner here! The French onion soup was amazing, as were our entrees (New York strip for me). We were so full by dinner that we couldn't fit dessert, but they ever so kindly wrapped a dessert to go (the incredible peach bread pudding) since it was my birthday! And it was just so nice to head straight back to the room after dinner. Couldn't recommend Caroline's enough!
