Similar to other’s experiences and I wish I would’ve read reviews before we stopped. We saw the smoker from the road and were so excited. Being from GA and SC we are always on the hunt for good BBQ out here. Unfortunately, this ain’t it. We got the lunch brisket plate and a half rack of ribs for $60. The food is disgusting and the truck they cook in from what I could tell is very, very dirty. I won’t be surprised if we get food poisoning… the brisket was dry, tough and had no seasoning. The ribs were massive, again no seasoning, they didn’t even go through the trouble of removing the membrane before cooking (if you’ve made ribs you know what I’m talking about). The meat had to have been the cheapest money could buy. Someone else said it must’ve been reheated and I agree - those smokers are just for show there’s no way that meat was smoked in there. Tasted like it was cooked in a microwave a week ago. Sauce was fine. Beans and cole slaw were just bad. Was hard to choke it down but for $60 you don’t want to waste it. Wish it was good, but it wasn’t. I truly haven’t had worse BBQ in my life.

We wanted to love this place but 3 stars is even a stretch. The gentleman helping us was great but the food was overall dry. I liked the mild sausage and the chicken. The brisket and ribs were very dry. Coleslaw was standard.

I was very excited to try this place, considering I am from the south. I absolutely love BBQ as well. Unfortunately, it was far less than we expected. The service, I will say, is exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating. The food, however, is way too pricey and quite gross. They have a great selling presentation with showing you the smokers and talking up how Jim used to play in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons. Sadly, the food was so over done and reheated that it was extremely hard to swallow. The truck they work out of as well is EXTREMELY filthy! I love supporting local companies but our experience was so disappointing that we won’t be doing so with them anymore. Maybe it was just a bad day?! Who knows but be mindful of all this before you go.

We just moved from Texas and were searching for that authentic southern bbq and this is some of the best bbq we've ever had. This place tops some of our favorite sports down south. The staff is funny friendly and so involved every step of the way! The brisket exceeded our expectations! We will be regulars for

Terrible food don't even try it or waste your time or money. No response from either Jim or his coworker. Spent lots of money and had terrible food. Don't try it.

I bought over 25 pounds of brisket and two racks of baby back ribs. The meat was horrible had no flavor and was just covered up with a bunch of sugary sauce of some type. The brisket if you can call it that was all chewed up and was more like Globs of meat we threw away half or 3/4 of the meat. The people who put it on their plate, wound up, throwing theirs away as well. This was for a family reunion, and I was very disappointed and very saddened. I do not recommend big Jim’s at all. It was a waste of over $800.

I stopped at Big Jim's BBQ wagon in Parker. It smelled great from across the street while I was getting fuel. The personnel were friendly enough. I got 3 meats, Chicken, Pork & Brisket. Tried the chicken as soon as I got back on the road...it was dry! And I do mean DRY! There was ABSOLUTELY NO MOISTURE in ANY of the meats I got. I got. And, while the FLAVOR WAS AWESOME! Nobody I know, including myself, likes dry meat unless it's jerky...and even good jerky has more moisture & is juicier than the "fresh-off-the-pit" meats I got. ALL 3 meats were drier than dry... no juiciness in my order, except for the coleslaw, which, was not put in a spill/leak proof container, as you can guess, it leaked all over my seat. And while the flavor was fantastic, nobody likes dry meat. 5 STARS for flavor, '0' stars for being dry instead of juicy. I read the other reviews on trip advisor , all reviews say it is moist and juicy.....not true! At least, not today. I won't try them again...I'm not into choke-it-down dryness. #Fail

Friendly but the food was not good at all ! We spent over $80 and threw almost all of it out. Everything but the sausage was tough. We were told the peach cobbler was the best around . It was just a big mess of soupy peaches. Nothing great, nothing special. We could have spent less for much better.

I bought the 5 meat pack for my family and we absolutely loved it. All of the meats have a delicious smoked flavor. The ribs are more dry, but they’re perfect when dipped in the homemade barbecue sauce. The cobbler was excellent. Service was very friendly and quick.

Sadly I must say that this visit was EXTREMELY disappointing! Ended up throwing out $30 worth of ribs. They were tasteless (unless you bathed them in BBQ sauce). No seasoning on the meat and “too much” smoke flavor.
