We live in Colorado Springs and we were headed to Denver for an Opera performance. So we decided to dine before we got into the greater Denver area, and after seeing a brief description of The Douglas on Open Table, we made our choice. The Douglas is a delightful surprise. While its interior has the presence of most modern restaurants, there was something of a cozy and comfortable feeling while we were there. Was it the fantastic service of our waitress - Taylor? Was it them mouth watering meals? Was it the background music of the great jazz classics? Perhaps it was ALL of the above. Of course we will return. We highly recommend The Douglas to our friends.

Taylor is the best. She knows about all the liquors, cocktails and menu items.She was at our table very often to ensure we always had everything we needed promptly.And we got to laugh and have fun with her too. You’ll be very satisfied at the Douglas kitchen, asking for Taylor.

This was my second visit to the Douglas. I was very excited and had been waiting for a long time to retry the petite wellington. I was bragging to friends about how amazing it is. Last night the meat was overcooked and tasted like day old beef. I'm willing to try again. Everything else was perfect.

The restaurant is really nice - good atmosphere. The food was good and great drinks! Taylor is awesome - followed her from Trapper's. Taylor is helpful with suggestions and makes the dining experience fun and enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Taylor is an amazing server! The bartender was also very attentive. Our food was tasty but I feel the prices are a little steep especially for the steak and frites. They do have gluten free options marked on the menu which is a huge plus for me. I enjoyed my blackened sea bass and my son really like his braised short ribs. It wasn't very busy on the Thursday night that we went. We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. I would come back and eat here again.

We moved to Parker last summer, and had only checked out a few bar and grills since then. We wanted to celebrate at a fine dining establishment for New Year's Eve, as we had friends from Washington, D.C. visiting. We hoped to show them the best that Parker had to offer. Our food was fantastic. Our server, Taylor, was friendly, responsive, and had a great sense of humor. Marissa, the hostess, recommended the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and it was tremendous. Two of our party had rainbow trout, cooked to perfection with an incredible rub. The fourth member of our party had Atlantic Salmon. He raved about the garlic spinach side as well as the main dish itself. We will definitely return.
My husband & I went to the Douglas for our anniversary. We were greeted promptly & shown to a booth. Server Taylor was excellent! Super friendly + knowledgeable about the menu. Oil candles were on tables but they were empty so not lit, the food was ok...bread was crumbly & odd, we had a few dietary (diabetic) requests that did not materialize, so we “ate around” the items we didn't want. During our meal the restaurant got much busier. We could hear guests complaining that they weren't greeted so they sat themselves. Taylor disappeared for ages, trying to accommodate all the new guests. Piles of dirty dishes accumulated on a tray in the corner (in view of all guests), guests & crew were swiping silverware from empty tables, random hotel employees appeared to try & help. We declined a free anniversary dessert & made a run for it! We will not be back

Date night was great here! The ambiance/decor was awesome. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was decent. It’s not going to be on par with Del Friscos but it’s pretty good for Parker. We decided to try it bc we stopped going to the other usual steak house in Parker due to poor service. Another thing I liked about this place was their whiskey selection. They have all of my usual favorites…which not every place has.
