A local downtown family owned and operated business, but hard seats, leather burgers, and country music = your place? First time ever seen booths with hard flat seats (a few padded chairs in front and maybe at bar). However, excellent margaritas, fast kitchen service, exceptional wait service from Kara and others, removed plates and glasses as soon as finished. Despite menu disclaimers cooks will not prepare medium rare burgers. Nachos order is large, but hard chewy tasteless tortilla chips with extremely salty sauce. Too noisy to sit near kitchen. Restaurant is clean with slightly dated restrooms but decent and also clean. Prices are a buck or two less than other eateries. Notwithstanding my comments this is a very popular and busy place.

Food as always was wonderful. Would have liked waitress to be a little more tebative after reciving drinks and food didnt recieve refills or a checkin once before i was ready for a check. Overall it was not busy so didnt quite understand why i wasnt able to spend more money on another drink or two. I always like coors sloppers and the service mostly food is consistant and drinks are always well made. Will be back hope in hope of a little more attention or atleast a check in once or twice after food arrives.

I found this restaurant using Yelp and as soon as I saw the reviews I knew my husband had to try the Slopper! We stopped in late the afternoon and everything was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately we live across the country so we probably won't be back soon.
