Trying to make everyone happy at a ski resort while serving, basically, the local cuisine seems an impossible task. Venga Venga doesn't hit it out of the park but it was certainly sufficient and the great service pushed up my rating to four stars. With crazy spring break crowds the food was surprisingly fast and surprisingly tasty. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were attentive and friendly. I had the El Machete. Steak was slightly overcooked but the flavors of guajillo sauce melded together nicely with the crema. The crowd was the same mix as the snowmass slopes. Some groups of friends, families, and couples. Boisterous but not noisy.

Our experience at Venga Venger was solid. It's a balance of good food, good margaritas, and easy access to the mall, and to the slopes. The beans and rice were really good, you have to try the cheese dip, and the guacamole was fresh. The entrées varied from average to above average, but everyone left the table full and not able to walk easily. So if you're looking for good ski town food, it's a good place to try out.

The food was great. If you're looking for fantastic Mexican food, this is your place. The most disturbing fact was that there was an alarming amount of boogers plastered on the mens restroom walls. Nothing makes you want to devour Hispanic food like direct eye contact with dried nasal mucus. Unfortunately, the ambiance was not great. Loud music from the outdoor DJ station produced a lousy indoor dining experience. The waiter (maybe just a bad day) was not accommodating and seemed like he would rather be doing anything else than serving us. There was a lack of explanation on the dishes we were interested in. Beyond this, we dined here for a birthday celebration and there was ZERO effort to celebrate on the restaurant's behalf.

Food and drinks were good, but the guy (Charlie) who came to our table to make table side guacamole was shockingly rude and it really put a damper on the experience. We ordered guacamole with specifically no cilantro from our waiter (who was exceptional for the record). Charlie arrived to make the guacamole and we realized as he started that there was cilantro in it. I explained that we ordered no cilantro and Charlie just stared at us and asked if "we were sure we ordered it that way" and didn't believe us that we had ordered no-cilantro guacamole. After all three people at the table confirmed we ordered it that way, Charlie proceeded to repeat "It wasn't on the ticket" and continued preparing the guacamole and would not get us the correct order. Thankfully our waiter - Fernandez - intervened and vouched that it was no cilantro and then made our correct order for us instead. It was a real bummer because Fernandez was awesome and Charlie acting like we had done something wrong/were lying about our order/not acknowledging he was being a jerk to three people who didn't do anything to him ruined the atmosphere of an otherwise lovely place.

Food was average at best, although the guacamole was very good. Cocktails were categorically bad - no balance (just booze & sour mix). Noisy place with an atmosphere that brought me back 20 years - to the cafeteria in my college dormitory. Service was slow - which was ironic given the sign at the entrance notifying us that we were expected to eat and get out in 45 minutes. Seriously over-priced for the quality of the food, the drink and the experience. Will not return.

Waiter mixed-up one of the orders for our party of six, and brought the wrong order. Had to wait 15 minutes for the correct order. By then everyone else was done eating. Not a great experience!

Everything was excellent. Happy hour passion fruit margaritas were wonderful and the nachos amazing. Tacos and shrimp/chicken fajitas excellent as well. On a nice evening, fire pits on the deck make for a perfect slopeside experience.

Truly the Best Mexican food I have ever experienced. The guacamole was prepared at the table - it couldn't be any fresher. The salsa was as so delicious that we asked to compliment the chef who graciously told us how very fresh it is every day he prepares it. The Tacos? My all three of us had different Racis - each was better than the next.

Been coming here for years. 2nd time on our trip server Adam was rude and questioned a 20% tip. Probably shouldn’t work in the service industry

Best place to do Apres. Service is incredible. Adam, our waiter, truly made the experience over the top for our trip. So much so, we went back and did the Apres there again 2 days later and of course we asked for Adam. Drinks are great, good food, great service. The views and the DJ rocked. I'm in love with this place. Made me happy.

I ate at Venga Venga while I was in Snowmass on December 26, 2023. The food was decent, and if I was rating them on food alone, I would give them 3 stars (maybe 4). However, if you eat at Venga Venga, make sure you keep copies of your receipts. I left a standard percentage tip when I paid, but was surprised later when the tip was larger than I had originally written on my ticket slip. This is because the server added more to my tip amount (I guess he was hoping I wouldn't notice?). In any event, I noticed this when I got back home, and so I called Venga Venga on January 2, 2024 and spoke to a "manager" who said his name was "Jake." Jake told me it must have been a mistake, and that he would reimburse the entire tip to me. I told him that I didn't want the whole tip back, but I would appreciate having the "extra" amount that was added on given back to me. Jake said he would take care of it and I should see it in the next few days. It is now February 27, 2024 and I have never received anything from Venga Venga. So, is the food decent? Sure, it's fine. But keep an eye on your receipts.

A good option in Snowmass for a full service meal. Reservations are recommended. Servers seem preoccupied by larger parties and tables ordering more “drinks”. Our party of four with two kids waited a bit for non-alcoholic drink refills and dessert for the kids.Vegetarian options: Veggie options availableKid-friendliness: Kids menu available includes ice cream dessert

Birthday reservation was a flop. Slow service, noise, temperature, and not enough time to have dinner and drinks. Yes, reservation said one hour, however it took 20 minutes to get our order taken, got one beverage each and again, no birthday treat.

Waste of time. Tried on 2 separate occasions to get a post-ski drink there with a group. Went to both bars (indoor & outdoor) and couldn't wave down a bartender or server. We were told to move out of the way by a server. Spent about 20 minutes without getting to order (and it wasn't any more crowded than other spots). We also sat down at a table but must've had our invisible cloaks on that day. 0 for 2 for those reasons, I'm out.
