We are disappointed that this local restaurant serves to go food in plastic. Upon being told that the cinnamon roll container was “compostable”, we arrived home to find it as #5 plastic. not only is #5 not recyclable in our community, we also don’t have commercial composting. With the plastic bag initiative in CO, we are sad that this am all business doesn’t see or value the downstream impacts of these decisions. We challenge you to rethink your practices - switch to paper? switch to post consumer recycled paper products? Do the finances, think sustainably. It probably makes more sense to change your packaging practices.

This place is delicious but it is expensive. 4.25 for a cup of drip coffee is too high.

Great food and kid friendly. We stopped here on the way to the airport after a week long ski trip. We ordered breakfast. Sunrise Omelette was especially good. Pancakes were a big hit. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu. And they had Nutella!

One of my favorite steamboat breakfast places! I always get the croissant sandwich with grits but their omelettes are also quite good. One piece of advice: order the cinnamon roll!

Manager was nice but perhaps the rudest server we've had in Steamboat. Food was watery and runny. Very sub par in every way. Took 1.5 hours for breakfast and we ordered as soon as we were sat...

The service & the environment are awesome. The food however, is just mediocre at best. We couldn’t believe the price was so high for such low quality breakfast!

In spite of the place being slow with just a few tables occupied, our server took our order and disappeared. One of my party tried several times to get her attention and finally gave up getting the straws we wanted for our drinks himself. We were all disappointed in the service and tipped accordingly. Then as we were leaving, I don't know if this woman is the manager or what her position at Freshies is, but she chased us down in the parking lot to find out why we left the small tip. First, this woman dresses inappropriately for a restaurant in her skin tight stretch leggings and tight stretch shorts that are more for a gym than a family restaurant. Second, no one wants to be chased down and questioned about the tip left. Food was good though my sandwich was dry - no condiment/sauce on the bread. We've given Freshies several second chances... this was the last straw and we won't be going back.
