I had the fried chicken. It had no flavor at all, the gravy was a paste like substance that I'm still trying to figure out and bone in chicken should not come with dipping sauces in my opinion. I sat at the bar where the service was great and it has a elegant but relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience here. We were lucky enough to find 3 bar seats open and had Ryan as our bartender. He was fantastic and just all around the man! We let him chose a bunch of things for us and all of them were great. The pork belly was definitely my favorite but the tuna tartare & elk tips were amazing as well. It was so good in fact that we ended up going back a couple days later. Highly reccomend going here if you get a chance, you will not regret it!

Updating as it's disgusting that this establishment responds to only positive reviews but is a complete coward when there are negative reviews. Do you want to go to a restaurant that doesn't take accountability? Then go to Laundry. I'm giving this restaurant just one star due to an unfortunate set of circumstances. My fiancé and I ordered an $89 bison steak, among other things, and the steak was served by mistake to the table next to us. The patron dug into the food before his server rushed back with the correct plate. His server took back our meal from him and brought it back to the kitchen then came and told us they had accidentally served our steak to the wrong person. Then, instead of remaking the steak, about three minutes later, our server brought it to our table without addressing the situation. It was clear that was the same steak touched by the patron seated next to us. It was also cold. We would have said something but the restaurant was closing soon and we didn't feel comfortable returning the plate to our server as he wasn't the most welcoming server we've had. Before that, while ordering, the waiter had stopped us from ordering the rest of our meal because he felt what we ordered was enough. Unfortunately, this experience ruined the restaurant for us. We were really looking forward to this dinner as we've been there years ago and remembered how great it once was. Our expectations were high not only because of that, but also because of the high prices charged. In this case, we didn't get what we paid for. I hope this was just a one-off mistake and that the restaurant takes precautions to handle these types of situations differently in the future.

A local favorite. Reservations a must. If you only have two small plates - the pow pow shrimp and the crispy potatoes are a must. Both are served on a wood plank- the potatoes are decadent. These are not ‘home fries’ rather, this is a gourmet small plate which uses potatoes as a vessel for truffle oil, pesto, pickled onions etc. The shrimp are fried and coated in a mildly spicy sauce and served with some magic sesame powder and pickled ginger. Try whatever the chef has as a special. In our case they had broiled clams in a delicious broth with grilled bread. Incredible.

Fantastic meal. Shared plates with amazing service. Everything on the menu was excellent and inventive. Can't wait to return. If you are into great, innovative food and visiting Steamboat would be a shame to miss this place.

This place was just awesome. I wish I had the hostess name because her smile and actual “high five” when we came in the door of this upscale casual place totally made my day. Food: Awesome. Service: incredible. Vibe: Steamboat casual chic. We walked in from snowboarding (ski pants but nice sweaters) - and were right at home. Loved everything about it. Grazed our way through the small plates menu and nothing disappointed. The blackened avocado was a favorite. Not inexpensive ... but it's Steamboat Springs. Every dish was delightful as was our server Sharon. Our Atlanta crew will be back.

Our server soooo took care of us. We ordered approx 13 small plates. He vowed to gauge the order and how we were doing. Needless to say, we did not wind up with THIRTEEN small plates. He was super accommodating. The food was off the charts. This place is a foodie-lover's dream. Amazing combinations of unique ingredients. All incredible.
The food was fantastic. We had the porchetta and salmon and beet appetizer. They were everything was really great. The service was great, however the hostess with red hair was very crabby and unaccommodating. The rest made up for it, but it would have been a perfect evening if the hostess had been a little friendlier

Wonderful food and service! It's a bit pricey, but was one of the best meals we had in Steamboat. Split between 3 adults, we had the charcuterie, 3 small plates (kale salad, elk, pork belly/biscuits), the fried chicken lg plate. All were excellent and we were stuffed. Will definitely eat at Laundry again when we are next in Steamboat.
Our reservation was for 5:15 pm so we caught the end of happy hour (highly recommended). The food was fantastic and the service was superb. Obvious why this is one of the top restaurants in Steamboat.

Great service and wonderful dinner. Very unique menu choices which the chef rotates. We tried the blackened avocado with sticky rice at our waiter's recommendation very tasty. Two small plates were enough for us to enjoy. Popular restaurant so make reservations.
The food and cocktails were great. My wife thought the kale and beet salad was phenomenal. The fried chicken was perfect as was the tasty pork bun appetizer. Also the Old Fashion was really good. Service was excellent and attentive. We would recommend it and definitely go back.
