Rude staff and poor service. Bartender made a big deal about last-call. Felt like I was being lectured by my 2nd grade teacher. Then he turned and poured drinks for his local friends. Good for locals I guess but I don't get the feel that locals are going to hang out at the Holiday Inn.

Not terrible but bad. It's just a hotel kitchen. Ordered sausage and eggs and got terribly undercooked sausage patties. Cold barely toasted bread. If you have ever got sick from undercooked pork, you will know why I didn't eat it. I don't care if it's freezing outside with a foot of snow, if your staying at the hotel, just go into town to eat.

Cheeseburger and fries to go took over 25 mins on a slow day. Server wasn't polite, just bland. No smile, no "thank you, no have a good day. Fries were extremely salty, buns weren't toasted. Burger taste was ok, but for price it wasn't worth it.. There's two servers and a hostess working on a extremely slow day, with a owner/manager in the office. $7 for a latte is flat out theft. If you're opposite over 500 people in employee housing at the ponds, and you aren't busy as hell, you're doing something wrong. If I owned a business right next to over 500 young idiots willing to blow money on hangover food, Id find a way to tap In to it.

Great place! We were up to Steamboat for a Hockey tournament..The food & menus were very good. We had a team dinner too and we got an exceptional service. Shout out to Shannon for handling this admirably... And with a great smile and sense of humor...

I do not usually do yelp reviews and especially bad ones. But I have to say that our experience here was really bad. First the food was OK but not to their regular standards, the chicken on my sandwich literally tasted like cardboard, no flavor at all. I added some salt and that did not even help. Also the Ranch dressing was extremely watered down and again no flavor at all. Was again just like dipping a fry into water. My husband said is burger was good and my daughter said the mac and cheese was epic but again the chicken on it had no flavor. Then the server lost our credit card. Kept denying we gave it to her when I know we did because I was checking which one my husband was using. She not only denied it but was rude about it. Hey accidents happen, all she would have had to say is " I am so sorry I don't know what happened to it" Not only did she not do that but we could here here very loudly complaining to the manager about it!!! Very unprofessional. Finally when we said something to the manager he apologized, but we had to ask for an apology. We had another form of payment so it was not like we were trying to get a free meal but that is how they acted. I am a local and it will be a long time before I recommend this restaurant again to anyone. If I recommended someone else to Rexs and they were treated this way I would be extremely embarrassed. So now today we are cancelling that credit card and moving on.

We went there 3 times in one day best breakfast burrito of my liiife. Will be back even if I'm not staying at the hotel!

We ate at the back patio area and had HH pizzas, drinks. Everything was very good. We chose this place primarily because they had live music on the patio and Tom Wood/The Remedy did not disappoint! The best thing though, was meeting & having fun with the locals. Jack, his wife Cathy, Sue (mom of an Olympian??), Allie, and the Aussie whose name I forget.

We eat here sometimes since it's a few minutes from our house. It's ok, food usually pretty decent, service is good. Prices are what you'd expect for a ski town: therefore, we try to avoid: burger is $20 but it's good. I'm generally not in love with the menu options (adult Mac and cheese is over $20?? Chicken fried chicken is almost $30??). The patio is wonderful in the summer with live music, table tennis, and other games. Your kids can play on the grass! Side note: Wish they had better happy hour (HH grub = locals secret!).

We arrived at 8:30 and didn't leave until 9:50. They were NOT understaffed, and we were seated relatively quickly. It took 5 minutes for them to bring us water and because of that, we ordered immediately instead of taking our time with the menu. While we waited, several other tables were seated and fed. After 30 minutes went by, we notified someone who wasn't our waiter (as our waiter hadn't been by once, not even to refill our empty waters), and he put in our order immediately. We still had to wait another 20 minutes for our food, and within that 20 minutes had to ask that our waters be refilled. Meanwhile, as we were hungrily waiting for those 50 minutes, we saw 2 tables empty that were seated and fed and checked out after we were seated, and those tables were poorly cleaned and set up for the next party. The table next to us? It took 3 different employees SIX trips to that table, and it STILL wasn't cleaned. As a former waitress, I was appalled at the inefficiency of the staff. The table behind us? Same thing - 3 different people came by 5 different times, and the table still wasn't clean - you could SEE the dirt, despite it being "set up" for the next party. As for the food? Poorly presented, and the breakfast potatoes were under-seasoned (if seasoned at all) and definitely overcooked. My omelet wasn't presented well at all, and the vegetables were undercooked. There was very little cheese at all, and it was definitely lacking in flavor.I will NEVER go back to this place, at least not until it's rescued by one of those makeover TV shows. They are incredibly inefficient. They only took 50% off of our bill, and we never received an apology or explanation.

The bang bang chicken salad and the falafel plate were both amazing. The waiter was amazing with our large group. They have a great outdoor space with bags, seating and live music. Great for kids to be outside and play while eating.

I ordered the rib eye steak and it was beyond excellent; maybe the best I've ever had! I licked my plate clean and enjoyed every bite. The musical group was also really great and played lots of covers and took requests and seemed to know every song. Amazing nite out under the stars!

unless you are male or a regular customer, service will be iffy...in addition check your bill ...over charged on wine..menu vs bill..did not refund...excuses..new staff ..new manager...that's not what a customer wants to hear..no changes to the bill...travelers beware...

The setting and ambiance were great, but the service and food left a lot to be desired. We came for lunch during summer and were excited to let the kids play with the outdoor games, but there were none. Our server seemed annoyed to be there. One person in our group ordered the popcorn chicken, but received GIANT fried boneless thighs. I'm pretty sure that is no one's definition of popcorn chicken. If it wasn't for our servers lack of enthusiasm, we probably would have said something. I'm a big fan of the Rex's chain of restaurants, but this visit was a huge letdown. We were here earlier in the year around Christmas and the service and food were fantastic. Hopefully this was just a fluke.
