My wife and I have been twice in the past two days for the AMAZING half 'n half oxtail 'n goat plate with coconut rice. It's possibly the most scrumptious entree we've ever had!!! The service is so helpful and friendly plus the commons dining room is very spacious and cozy.
Authentic, delicious Jamaican food was NOT on my bingo card for a mountain town in Colorado, but here it is. Soooo good!! I got the jerk pork with 'festival' and fried plantains, and all 3 were absolutely fantastic. This is a must-go next time we visit Steamboat Springs.

This is like a mall food court. Upstairs you got food and seating and downstairs you got food and seating and then a bar. The food is amazing here at Sizzling Jamaican. The goat was so tender at disintegrates in your mouth The oxtail is just as tender. The plate is bountiful and the rice and peas are on point.
Seriously the best restaurant in the Steamboat area. Going into it, I didn’t necessarily have high expectations because the last place you’d expect authentic Jamaican food is in the middle of the mountains, but it was quite possibly the best example of the cuisine I’ve ever had. The curry goat was incredibly tender, and had an incredibly flavorful sauce. I also had a beef patty which was very crispy and the best of any that I’ve had. It’s certainly worth a visit!
