Total gem of a "local" bar. Located downstairs, you have to be looking for it, but worth the look. I love the beer line up, and it's always changing. Only cask ale in town. Great Colorado options for beer, whiskey, and cocktails. The jam cocktails are to die for. I see people complain of the snack options, but hey, it's a bar. The pub cheese is great and if you're drinking they let you bring in food from the surrounding places. Great mix of locals and visitors. Thoughtful bartenders are very knowledgeable of the taps and help to pick the perfect pour. Plenty of TVs and sports. The music volume is low enough to have table conversations. Great place for Aprés Ski. Oh, and Rob Day sucks! (IYKYK)

Wonderful selection of craft beers from just about everywhere. No Bud Light . Made room for a great selection of clean craft beer on draft. Pours are pretty good as prices match the quantity .

We were only in town for an extended weekend and stopped into The Barley--fantastic service. The bartender, Angela, was incredibly kind. She went out of her way to talk with us about "must do & must see" spots in Steamboat so that we could enjoy a true, local experience. Great selection of beer, 31 on tap!!! You can't find that elsewhere. Good vibes all around. Thankful to have met Angela!

Stopped in to catch the end of a Celtics game. Good environment- everyone was friendly. Pretty cool they have Sauvignon Blanc on tap.

Favorite bar I visited while in Steamboat. Great selection of very high quality beers, both local and not, but all very good - you can tell whoever owns this really likes their beer. Also serve wines, spirits, and light bites. Ordered a few sours (crooked stave and Russian River brewing) and IPAs (weldwerks) and all were fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you like quality beer

Really solid beer selection, barrel-aged cocktails (always a plus in my book) and a chill vibe. That is, unless you accidentally get into an argument about the relative merits of Vanderpump Rules vs. Sports (lolwut, I know). Also really great marinated olives.
