Was very good quality. Unfortunately the app isn't so clear on sizes but I paid 15 bucks for an 8 inch. You pay extra for the whiz and cream cheese but those are a must! Pricey but delishhh..

Not usually one to review a chain but this is pretty good. If your like me and just want something different that also has good tasting food, this is a good place to try. Highly suggest you have a connoli they are shockingly good! Honestly one of the best connoli I have had at any place of business. Keep in mind I am only comparing it to a small sample in CA and CO but I havr had some really good connoli in CA. Anyway, if your curious give it a try. Can't speak for any native Philly peeps, so this review is for us outsiders.

Hubs and I had the 8" philly cheesesteaks, mine w peppers, his w peppers & mushrooms. We LOVED them! They were big, healthy portions and tasted delicious. My mom had the kids philly, and it was very good as well, about 6". Daughter had a hoagie, and she liked it.It's much better than the place we've been going to on 120th & Sheridan. DEFINITELY a bigger sandwich, and that's comparing the 8" here to the 10" inch at the other place. On service, hubs had to wait about 5-10 minutes after arriving from placing our order online. Overall, we will DEFINITELY be back. I'm very happy to have a Taste of Philly back in the Thornton area. :)

Excellent cheesesteak sandwich. From the quality and quantity of meat and cheese to the great bread. Delicious.

I've been in twice now, but this is the first time I actually got a sandwich and I must say I was not disappointed! I swear this place is a little hidden gem tucked away in an area of Larkridge that sees less foot traffic than the surrounding shops. Both times we've visited, lots were full of cars and people were all over the place, but the dining room of Taste of Philly was nearly empty on a weekend during lunch. It may just be a coincidence though because this place is pretty bomb. The menu is surprisingly large and diverse for a cheesesteak shop, which is awesome since it would be a good place to bring a couple of friends to or have a quick lunch date at and could easily satisfy really any taste; there are lots of sandwich options, salads, and even chicken wings. This time I ordered the Buffalo chicken Philly, which comes with your choose of ranch or blue cheese. Making it a meal gets you a side of fries and a fountain drink, and I'm almost certain that you have the option of upgrading the side for an additional charge if you wanted to. For two regular sized sandwich meal combos, the total came out to right around $30; for the size of the sandwich I think it's a decent deal but in the slightly pricier side. You give your name for the order and it's all brought out to the table when ready. If it's really busy and loud it might be a bit tougher for food running, but that's kind of a moot point for now lol. We waited for about five minutes before our food was brought out, and the sandwiches were steaming hot, which I seriously love, and they were absolutely massive - I swear I could have been served half of what I got and it'd be more than enough. The fries were hot and perfectly crispy as well. The overall quality of ingredients was excellent and everything tasted very fresh. The restaurant is very clean and organized and the staff is so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience all the better. The only downside I can think of is the lack of availability of any sauces or condiments in the dining area itself or near the drink station; having self serve ketchup or hot sauces, etc. would be excellent rather than having to go back and ask, which takes attention away from the folks in the kitchen or at the register. Overall super yummy, not too expensive, and pretty quick lunch if you don't want to go to a sit down place.

Very disappointed. The food was ok, but was rather bland and the steak didn't taste very fresh. The people at the front counter were terrible and it seemed like everyone was in a bad mood. Ruined the experience. There are better places to get a philly around the area that are actually worth the price.

They seem to be horribly mismanaged and run out of inventory often. Not sure who orders for this place, but they need to be replaced. When desired food can be provided, it's good. You just can't count on stuff being available.

It's a quick bite to eat so nothing fancy and not a restaurant where you are waited on. However the food was actually really good. It was very hot and the fries were nice and crispy. I couldn't eat my cheesesteak for about 5 minutes but i prefer it that way over it being cold. I will definitely be back. I got the jalapeño popper cheese steak ?

Today was my first time in this place. I ordered the works cheesesteak sandwich and paid $12 for it. When I opened the wrapping paper I found a pile of meat and vegetables along with chopped up salad lettuce mixed into it and the bun had about half a jar of mayonnaise on it. The bun with the mayonnaise was piled on top of the meat and vegetables. It looked and smelled like the cooking surface this place uses has never been cleaned so I wrapped everything back up and threw it in the trash. If you want to spend $12 for lunch I recommend you spend it elsewhere. It was noon, ( lunch time) when I walked in and there were five people in the place including myself. That should have been my first clue. Save your $12.I won't be back
