The Gondola experience was fabulous. Our server was very attentive. He checked on us often and also gave us privacy. The food was the perfect amount. We loved having our own private Gondola! They provide you with a Bluetooth speaker so you can play your own music. The interior decorations are perfect for this alpine experience. We had a wonderful time!Parking: Park in the main Vail village parking structure and walk. Parking is free after 3pm.

We did the GONDOLA DINING experienceSo it’s a cute concept and definitely good for the gram but overall just sub par.Food was not seasoned like at all.You cook it on the grill and the fondue concept is actually beef broth not cheese. The rachlette you put cheese in a skillet underneath and put it on whatever you like .The best thing was the bratwurst .For 58$ a person it was A lot of food but would have rather had less of it and gotten a desert or a drink instead since the food was just okay.It would definitely be better to just sit and eat off the menu in the restaurant looking at the other reviews. Our waitress came to take our order/ deliver food/ and check on us once eventually we just had to walk down to the host to pay because she was downstairs talking to her coworkers behind the counter hanging out.

Having lived in Bavaria, I’m aware I have high expectations but the schnitzel with spaetzle here were actually divine, served with a berry sauce for the schnitzel and gravy for the noodles, it was very tasty and portions were aplenty. The only thing missing was rotkraut (red cabbage). Espresso martini was absolutely delicious. The couscous salad was hardy and a large portion. While I’m not a fan of pretzels, this one was fresh and crispy on the outside, and warm on the inside, with not too much salt; a 10 out of 10 as far as pretzels go. Atmosphere was adorable with low timber ceilings and chair lifts and gondolas for seating. It would have been 5 stars only our waitress completely forgot about us. Zero follow up or service once we received our orders. This, while there were at least 10 waitstaff just standing around but no one to assist us. They also have adorable free postcards and stickers for souvenirs. We’ll be back and only hope the service is better.

Had a dinner in the gondola car. Such an incredible experience with the Bluetooth speaker, the ambiance and everything else. The service was unmatched and the food was incredible. The pretzel is one of the best I’ve ever had. Would go back 10/10
Authentic piping hot super flavorful food, convincing atmosphere, impersonal and so-so service. There are gondolas outside in which you can have a cozy meal. Portions are huge but prices are fair. If you like German food this is the place. Macarons for dessert were out of place and not good.
