“Friendly staff but a really small place. My biggest complaint is because it’s so tiny, when we were sitting to eat, the bathroom door was wide open. Since no one closed it for a solid 15-20 mins, it smelled like a port-a-Jon (not how you spell but you get the idea). That smell kinda ruined my appetite, TBH. That’s why they get a 0 for atmosphere.“

“Hubby and I had dinner at Golden Eagle Inn again during our ski trip this year in early March. Nothing fancy at this joint but food is decent, plus good and fast service.We ordered the Baked Brie for appetizer. Hubby had the Grilled Shrimp & Wild Mushroom Risotto which was very tasty and my Gnocchi of Sweet Potato was delicious.This is definitely a solid spot to dine in when visiting. With that said, we will be back next season!“
“Our meal was amazing and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The mushroom ravioli, Cavatelli and tenderloin were all delicious. My husband had the lamb osso bucco and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: The staff was very friendly and accommodating.“
“The food was really good but the service was really bad. They somehow missed my dinner order even though I was the first in our party to order and then said they miss read it and put cold food on a very hot plate. They’re just lucky it tasted good, just not hot. Don’t expect the waitstaff to know what is on happy hour because what we ordered ended up not being and had to pay full price.“
“Our food was delicious, and we enjoy Russells 3 to 4 times a year. Thought it was weird when we got our bill and it was rounded up? Sometimes that happens if you use cash, which I sort of understand, but we used a credit card and our server said all bills are rounded up no matter how you pay. Will still come back, but just thought that was a strange practice. “
