It’s a shame, very good food but an extraordinarily bad and RUDE SERVICE. I had to stand up and ask for our food since our waitress didn’t show up at our table for at least 40 min after she gave us the first plate and 1 hour after taking the complete order. I told them we were starving and their response was a very rude and repeated “we are on time”. After one hour, our waitress LITERALLY threw the plates at our table and didn’t show up again, another waiter had to give us the check. I wouldn’t go back ever again and I would recommend other people to look for other Steak Houses.. even though the steakes are really good, they really don’t care about customers at all.

The food is very uneven. Steaks are consistently great! But other food can be very inconsistent. Had to send my Wiener schnitzel back. It was terrible. The staff responded well and comped us for it.

The food was really good. Our waitress was really nice to us. They are really friendly They are quick with getting your orders to you as well.

Our food was delicious, and we enjoy Russells 3 to 4 times a year. Thought it was weird when we got our bill and it was rounded up? Sometimes that happens if you use cash, which I sort of understand, but we used a credit card and our server said all bills are rounded up no matter how you pay. Will still come back, but just thought that was a strange practice.

Dinner was great! We had a party of 5 and we were seated right away. Service was on point, friendly and efficient. The salads were delish and the steak were outstanding. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The service and the food were excellent. The restaurant was very loud and noisy though. Hard to hear others at your own table. For such a nice restaurant, I expected a little quieter atmosphere.

Great food and service. The interior looked outdated and understated not matching the price point. Expected to have a table cloth not just place mats at a fine dining establishment

Limited choices especially if you're coming with kids. Steak comes with sides which is nice. Steak was fantastic but Wiener schnitzel a little overcooked Salads are great for appetizers and are very fresh with interesting combinations.

What a lovely evening we had celebrating with family at Russell's. From the moment you walk in the restaurant is warm and inviting as is the staff. Bowers was our server and she was fantastic! Very engaging and fun, she made great suggestions and kept a close eye on us so that we never lacked for anything. Emma, the manager was delightful and checked on the table several times during our evening to ensure everything was to our liking. We interacted with several other staff as well and across the board they were great! For appetizers we had the bacon wrapped scallops and I lack the words to properly describe this dish. The scallops were the perfect texture and the flavor is amazing. The wedge salad and Caesar were great as well. I love that they don't cut the Romaine leaves. Entrees were Filet Oscar. Each was cooked to perfection and practically melted in our mouths. For sides we shared the Scalloped potatoes. They were a huge hit with the table. And the asparagus with crab. They shave the asparagus and it is large but super tender and flavorful. I can't pick a favorite both were excellent. Dessert was Crème Brûlée and like everything else could not have been better. I can't recommend Russell's more highly 10/10

Top steakhouse I've been to in a while. Not too salty, made perfectly. The sides are amazing. The ambience is loud but nice? Of the 200 steakhouses I've been to, the price was perfect

Celebrated Valentine’s Day. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the wine was reasonably priced with a nice selection. Also enjoyed the salad and soup. Great location right by the covered bridge.

We make this our first stop every time we come to Vail and it never disappoints. Bawer was great! She made sure we were very well taken care of. The filets were perfect! Well worth the money!

Absolutely wonderful as always! Started out with the escargot and bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer! Flavor and seasoning were delicious! I had the filet and my husband ordered the king crab legs add-on. The crab legs were enormous with so much fresh, sweet crab meat. It was very obvious that these had not been frozen previously. The filet you can always count on to be perfect, and once again it was!! For dessert we shared the white chocolate bread pudding! It was full of flavor and scrumptious!! Service was amazing! Highly recommend!

We've been coming to Vail for years and never ate at Russell‘s. Boy have we been missing out! The nicest thing is that we were able to sit in a quieter section of the restaurant and could actually have a conversation without screaming. Our waiter, Bower, was friendly, helpful, and gave us excellent service. It's pretty much a given in Vail that the food will be outstanding, and it was.
