It was a lot of fun. Unique and pretty tasty. They bring you a little stove to cook Raclette and Tebderloin and veggies on.

Everything is fine, I only noticed that the service was different with the Americans than with the Latinos, even though we know that the minimum tip is 20%, but they should be excited because Mexicans consume very well $$$

I've been looking forward to dining at Swiss Chalet and it did not disappoint! We had the RACLETTE MATTERHORN and it was fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was perfect.

I keep trying to like this restaurant but every time I'm disappointed. The staff is ALWAYS amazing but the food is just bad. We had a salad which was SOAKED in a bland and bad dressing, and the “basic” cheese fondue which was liquidey, globular, and barely cheesy at all. Unfortunately I think the novelty and kind service are the only good things about it here. In general, it seems like the food at the Sonnenalp has gone downhill as I'm routinely disappointed by Bully Ranch as well, however, I'll still go there but the Swiss Chalet is a no-go moving forward :(

Every time we come to Vail, we always eat at the Swiss chalet restaurant it’s a favor. And we always have a wonderful waitress named Sigi. Sigi brings Authenticity to the whole experience. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend to anybody visiting Vail.

Dear foodies, we have come to Vail for a long time, and finally got to eat here…I felt we stepped into Switzerland…the place has so much charm, the staff are dressed in traditional clothes, and are actually from there. Our server was fantastic, she made us feel we were visiting her home. She was so excited to explain the menu, and had fantastic recommendations…we started with the delicious hibiscus mocktails (expensive, but delicious) and had the wedge salad…it was enough to share with my main man…the complimentary bread was pretzel mixed, which was so good we asked for another basket…then we got the meat that you cook yourself…the quality was perfect, and it comes with so many veggies. We finished it off with the chocolate fondue…was so good we wanted to drink the chocolate. I’m so happy we finally got to check it off the list of restaurants to try in Vail.

It was a delicious dinner, very well served by our friendly waiter Javier, always diligent. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and the dessert was a divine courtesy. We will return like every year on this special date. Thank you!

Wonderful authentic German food! Great beer (recommend the hefeweizen) and the weinerschnitzel was top notch. Also be sure to have the schapps beforehand (raspberry is better than the pear). Service was wonderful, and we will definitely be back for the fondue which looked incredible

the restaurant is nice, the staff is nice but the food...super expensive and low quality for what you get, if you expect to eat some raclette cheese like in Europe you will be very disappointed with not even 3 pieces of cheese per people and its not an appetizer!! All the veggies are raw and you have to cook them yourself usually it's not a problem but at that price yes. We didnt want to make a drama but we will never come back.

The restaurant was a bit cramped, and our table was entirely too small for 4 people with fondue and dippings. The food was lackluster at best. Fondue was bland, and Wiener schnitzel was tough and tasteless. We did enjoy the cocktails and the starter of Käsespätzle. We will not be back however.
