Best short rib I have had in a long time. The ragu and the elk also got rave reviews. The grilled bok choy was a surprise treat. We were in the side dining room which was a little less cozy but delightfully bright. We will be back.

Beautiful restaurant . Excellent service and the food was amazing. The squash soup is a MUST and try the spicey margarita . We loved also the trout and filet mignon. The apple crumple and baked Alaska were delicious .

The salmon and short ribs were excellent. The strip was fatty, and therefore, not as enjoyable. Would not order that again. The truffle gnocchi was amazing. The bok choy has a good flavor but would have been better if it was been cut. It was hard to cut on the plate. The decor was great, the noise level was very high so not a great restaurant for deep conversation. Service was fantastic

El lugar abre a las 5:00 pm. Llegamos 30 minutos antes, fuimos los primeros en llegar. Esperamos en el bar en lo que nos daban mesa. Después de las 5:00 comenzaron a sentar a la gente que llegaba y a nosotros no nos sentaban. Fui a ver qué pasaba y la recepcionista no pidió disculpas y nos llevó a una mesa al fondo del restaurante totalmente afilada al resto del ambiente. Nos sentimos rechazados. Pedimos que nos dieran una mesa en donde estaba el resto de los comensales me pareció una total descortesía y falta de parte de la recepción. El resto de la experiencia con la comida y el servicio del mesero fue muy buena.

Not on the slope so no great views but delicious food with marvelous flavors. Great service. And if you are driving there, parking literally across the street. It was a fabulous evening!

Had a phenomenal meal and experience at Slope Room. Every dish and drink well executed and unique plus fabulous service and ambience. I should add they did an incredible job with our 3 year old. She left raving, too! Highly recommend!

Plans change. We understand that many restaurants are requiring credit cards and have cancellations policies. However after dining at the Slope Room several times because of a nearby lodge we love and frequent, we came to understand where this restaurant's interest stands with regards to customer loyalty. 30 minutes prior to our res. we called to request a cancellation in order to join others at another restaurant and avoid a $150 charge. The hostess let us know the managers were in a meeting at 7:00pm and she would need their approval to cancel without a charge. We split from our group and followed through on the Open Table reservation..... which the Slope Room then deleted, presumably to avoid a negative review. Anna the manager showed a sincere disinterest for keeping us as customers. The choice between letting a repeat customer make a plan change or losing them forever should always be simple. While overpriced for what it is, the food is good, but the strict cancellation and abysmal customer service will send us dining elsewhere in Vail.

This is our third visit to Slope Room. The most professional staff, amazing food and gorgeous comfortable decor. It's been added have to our list as a must when we visit Vail now.
Highly recommend. Food was outstanding. We had the squash soup, pork belly lettuce wraps, salmon and short rib. All were top notch. Our server, Jackie, was charming, attentive and helpful.
Phenomenal dinner! We sat in the blue velvet booth and it was so comfortable. Loved the atmosphere. The yellow tail and or belly appetizers were amazing. I loved the cod as a main course and the short ribs were to die for. The top hit of the night was the side dish of sweet potato wedges ... out of this world!

Located in vail village, Gravity Haus, nicely tucked away from the mayhem of the main drag. Reception and service were amazing. Very pleasant professional staff. Did not feel rushed at all. Food was excellent. Menu had lots of variety. Nice sized portions. Considering this is Vail, overall good value and quality for the price. We would definitely come back to The Slope Room! Highly recommend for a nice dinner out.

Amazing!!! Worth every penny! We came here for my husband birthday. Didn't know it before we sat down but, they comped our dessert or a cocktail if he did t want dessert for his birthday. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. We got the focaccia bread with burrata, pork Kelley lettuce wraps and winter squash soup. All were amazing and filling so much so that were could have split an entree. We ended up ordering entrees before our apps came so we each got one - short rib and pork chop. The short rib was better. I didn't car for the sweet bbq like sauce that was over the pork chop. They provided a baked Alaska for my husband's birthday dessert. It is quite expensive of a restaurant but most of the restaurant in Vail are. If you're looking for a nice dinner and don't mind paying a bit more it's worth it.

We ate at the Slope Room Vail last evening for one of our daughter’s birthday. The evening started well with creative & delicious cocktails and wine. We ordered starters which were delicious, especially the beet salad. We then sat for ~one hour waiting for our dinner. Once it arrived it was tasty (especially the lobster mushroom risotto special). However the wait was so long we didn’t even get to have birthday dessert. The excuse was it was busy with a very large table sat around the same time as our table, but on President’s Day weekend they should have been more prepared. They did comp us some items but it was still not worth the wait for what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.
