We visited pre-ski season and the atmosphere was perfect. No large crowds and the service was wonderful.

We visited this place for insta famous hot cocoa drink with a view of the snow covered trees and mountains and were awestruck to see this beautiful and cozy hotel in the middle of the snow covered mountains. We ordered The Hot cocoa with marshmallow, an Old fashioned whiskey and veggies loaded nachos. They have very limited options for vegetarians. The cookie in the cast iron skillet was INCREDIBLE!!! It's almost more like a brownie with a ginormous helping of ice cream on top - crispy outside, gooey inside. Our good-eating party of 3 couldn't even finish it due to how big the serving is. This is absolutely a do-not-miss!
