We went for dinner and were somewhat disappointed. It took 15 minutes for someone to just bring us water. Once we spoke to our waiter he was a little more attentive, but it was slow. Our food was good. With so many other places to try, it was disappointing to go here.

Went there for a light snack. We both had tremendous salads and a bread service. Service was over the top. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Provided a GF option which was exceptional

We had an absolutely amazing evening at Vail Chophouse. The bone in ribeye was fantastic and you can’t miss with their sides. Service and management was 5 star.

We expected fine dining, but it’s a sports bar with Ruth’s Chris prices. TVs on all the walls playing different games. Even music playing in addition to all that. Strange place. Food was ok.

Had a nice dinner at Vail Chophouse with family here on a weekend trip to Vail. Got seated at our reservation time quickly. The food was delicious with filet and bone-in rib eye steak cooked as we ordered. The lobster mac and cheese side is served family style so could make an entree all on its own. Staff was friendly.

Steaks were just straight up terrible. Three of us had three different steaks and we all agreed that they were very bottom tier steaks and nowhere close to worth the price.

Honestly have never eaten anything but appetizers here, and they were good. The big draw for my family and I is the owner and entertainer, Phil Long. If you go to Vail and miss seeing him, you’ve missed out on a treat. We go every year during our ski trip and it’s the most fun we have!

The food and service is great, the amount and quality of food for what you pay for is great, I had the house burger and got full eating it. They have a great selection of alcohol at the bar and an even better selection of whiskeys. The servers and staff are great and will listen to you and want to have a conversation with you and treat you great.

For a prime steakhouse on my be of the most primo property locations, Vail Chophouse does not deliver. It's as if they know they have one of the best slope side locations in all of Vail and thus care little about food and service quality, though it may explain the often empty place. If you have been to a classy/classic prime steakhouse, this underdelivering is quickly apparent. My wife's salmon was tough and not at all fresh tasting. The “succotash” side was likely a frozen veggie package, and her wild rice taste like it was from a box. My steak was cold to the touch inside and out and I ordered medium rare. They redid it but it was just ok of a prime steak (if it was even prime). The whipped potatoes side tasted and appeared much like instant potatoes with some chives added. Service was slow and not attentive. My wife and I had the distinct impression that providing criticism to management would fall on deaf ears. We absolutely will Not go back and I highly recommend anyone thinks real hard about going here as your $$$$ could be much better spent in so many other great Vail restaurants.

Our waiter was attentive but inexperienced. Food was brought out nearly all at the same time, 2 minutes after getting starters our mains were brought out. We returned them but nothing more was done other than put them under a heat lamp. Steak mains were inconsistent despite being ordered med-rare, many were blue, when paying over $1000 for a meal this wasn't really top restaurant service. The restaurant did take money off the bill which satisfied us, but still ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration

I mentioned that my daughter and I are celebrating her birthday and hostess acted very disinterested. I would expect an upscale steak house, in Vail no less, to at least bring out the desert we ordered with a lighted candle. In addition, the waiter forgot about us and we waited for what seemed forever to get the check. The price of food does not equal good service.

5 star service, food & we caught the tail end of Apres Ski entertainment which was fabulous. Joey the manager was very accommodating and our waiter was first class. Forget his name but he was a former professional cyclist & now professional disc golf champion. You cannot come to Vail & miss this gem !
