I recently started eating here at least once a week with my man. We always have a good time and enjoy the atmosphere. When we were there last night Crista was taking care of us, while training another young lady, when an obviously inebriated patron came in with a friend and sat by us at the bar. He wasn’t acting right; was blatantly rude and even whistled at Crista to try to get service. Crista handled herself respectfully and professionally and did not allow him to continue being disrespectful to her or her trainee and ensured we as her other customers were no longer disturbed by his antics. She handled the situation beautifully and both my guy and I were impressed!I give kudos where they are due and Crista deserves that recognition. Thank you Crista!

Mike turned my whole night around. One of the best bartenders I have had in the state of Colorado - and I’ve lived here for 9 years. I work in the industry, and have worked in every facet of the industry for most of my life.Over the last several years, I haven’t been a stranger to Benders. Hooper has worked her butt off to make this place somewhere everyone can feel comfortable, and I would be remiss if I didn’t give her credit for keeping her ship afloat. .But tonight I came in after an especially rough day - one of those really, really rough days. The kind of day that had me thinking that I just needed a quiet drink alone. Before I knew it, I was in a conversation with my bartender, Mike - who I was meeting for the very first time - someone that felt as though he had been a friend for years.There is a difference between good service and great service. There is a bigger difference between great service and plan-changing service.From this night on, if Mike is behind the bar when I get off work, that’s now the plan.I can say, with total confidence, that if Mike is your bartender, you won’t go home feeling like you’ve had a bad day.Seventy seven out of seventy eight stars. One star lost because I’m saucy like that. Perfection is overrated - 78 stars would be egregious.Highly recommend.

My son and I stopped in to this Hockey sports bar on a Thursday night for a bite to eat on the way home. We sat by the window to a view an ice rink just below. Hockey was on the TVs too. Lots of people were there. The Mac and Cheese was impressive. Chicken tenders seemed a little thin for my liking but were delicious and plentiful. The dipping sauces were tasty and also paired well with the onion rings. The prices were fairly reasonable. I give this place a definite thumbs up. We'll be back to try more from the menu.

Amazing place. If you're a hockey fan and even if you aren't, this place is the one to go to. I had their Mac n cheese and OMG it knocked my socks off it was so delicious. They even had poutine! The service was absolutely phenomenal, the restaurant was pretty packed yet they always asked us how we were doing. And the ambiance of the place is amazing, jerseys from pretty much every team out there. Even ones like the Toronto maple leafs and the Wisconsin badgers. And since it's inside an ice center you get a view of one of the ice rinks and if you're lucky like we were you'll be able to have live entertainment! Definitely a 10/10 would 100% recommend.

I went with a girl friend last night. I had been before but it’s been years. It was seat yourself and as such took a minute before our server saw us. Once she knew we were in her section, she provided the perfect amount of service. Like she was there when we needed her and not when we didn’t. Maybe that’s a strange thing to note but she was very good at her job. I really appreciated not being interrupted for small things but my water glass was refilled quickly.The food was great! My friend had poutine and I had the smoked wings. Both were really wonderful. I got an order of boneless wings to go as I like them cold for breakfast. The boneless weren’t as great as the smoked. But I think that’s more the fact that the smoked wings were just so good.I gave atmosphere 4 stars only because parking is a ways away. I think I’d have been back sooner if there was more convenient parking but honestly, our experience last night was so good, the parking doesn’t really matter.I like that they’re open late and have a varied menu. Lots of choices for anyone.

Seemed like it might be a good place and the food looked like it might be good but after waiting over an hour with nobody even attempting to take our order we decided to leave. Upon asking for a check to pay for our 2 drinks we managed to get we were told to get out and that she was the only server!! Very cool to bad we were looking around and saw other servers. We will never return.

The service here truly creates an environment where the restaurant feels more like a community than anything else! Due to the times of day I go in, Kyle, Reagan and Jess are usually on staff and will take care of any needs you have, as well as make you feel like what you want matters. There are a lot of restaurants or bars in the nearby area, but what sets Bender's apart is the atmosphere and experience of the personal touch from the staff where they make me feel welcomed.

The waiting staff are all awesome and I was handing out a Christmas gift to the server Kyle who has always been great to me and all my friends and what appeared to be an manager interrupted the interaction and proceeded to voice his grievances with the gesture in front of me and other customers which made us uncomfortable due to its aggressive and unprofessional nature. Hopefully it was just a bad night for that manager because if it wasn’t for the great staff here, me and many others would probably not come here.
Reagan is the best server after 20 years of coming to this bar. Fun fact, she is psychic! The best place you can come on any weekday night or particularly when there is a hockey game playing.
