My recent visit to Tropical Smoothie Cafe left me with nothing but admiration and appreciation. What caught my attention and warmed my heart the most was the diverse team they have. It was incredibly inspiring to see individuals with different abilities working seamlessly together.The atmosphere of inclusivity and acceptance was palpable from the moment I walked in. It's not every day you come across a business that prioritizes diversity in such a tangible way. Seeing everyone, regardless of their abilities, contributing to the team and serving customers with genuine smiles was truly uplifting.Beyond the exceptional service, the food and drinks were delicious as always. But what truly sets this cafe apart is its commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all. In a world where inclusivity is often overlooked, Tropical Smoothie Cafe sets a shining example of how businesses should operate.We need more establishments like this, where diversity isn't just celebrated but embraced wholeheartedly. Kudos to Tropical Smoothie Cafe for leading by example and showing that everyone deserves a chance to shine. Would be a cool place to come to frequently but there's a bald dude that ruins the experience every time I come in. He always has this negative vibe and when he's in I usually PRAY he does that take my order OR make my drink. Whenever he does he talks to you like you're just stupid, the drinks come out CHUNKY, which is never a problem when any of the workers make my drink. I feel bad wanting to ask them to have someone- anyone else make my drink, but at this point he makes me want to find a new location entirely lol.

I came in earlier today around 1pm with my friend after we went to the gym. A nice older gentleman took my order first and had no issues ordering a wrap and a smoothie. My friend goes up to order right after me & a younger girl interrupts and says “we are no longer serving food or acai bowls.” In confusion I look up and see the female employees talking about how they had a 7 acai bowl orders come in and they’re in shock I guess over the big order. I saw the screens only had a few food orders so I thought she would be able to order food still. But they still rudely refused mid day to allow food service to my friend. The online app was still allowing mobile orders for food so I was confused. The 3 girls finished the acai bowls in about 5-8 minutes but still denied my friend food & more customers behind us. The older gentleman nicely handed me my smoothie because I was sitting at the closest table then as my food came out the same rude young female employee with puffy hair dyed hair walked across the back of the kitchen and threw my food on the counter yelling my name in annoyance & rolled her eyes at me and my friend. Ive worked in the food industry so I understand when a ton of food orders come in and you have a lot to do, but not allowing my friend to order a wrap right after me but still allowing online orders made no sense. The annoyance the employee showed when she went out of her way to throw my food on the counter in disgust was beyond disrespectful. The young girl employees working today were not nice at all and super disrespectful as well. I don’t understand how they allowed me to order food but denied my friend when they knew we were together and ordered one wrap each. Then proceeded to be annoyed and rude handing me my food. I have never been to a restaurant or fast food place where they tell us they’re done serving food for right now just because they got busy with online orders. Terrible customer service won’t be giving this location my time again.

I went in this morning and the two ladies working were very kind. They were a little busy for just having two people but they were doing their best and kept a good attitude which is hard to come by in the food industry. My hummus wrap was delicious.

Banned from working at any of them because the district manager SHANNON wanted to take my raise away too where instead of making almost 18$ a hour she wanted to pay me 16$ a hour for traveling to different stores and be a Assistant Manager but didn't want to pay me for my work she then talk horribly about me in a text and accidentally sent it to me causing her to say I'm banned from working at any ever so Shannon I know you'll see this ((: you hired worse people back which is funny because I worked non stop hours for your stores that you couldn't run . Wouldn't purchase from any locations this main one I was at served expired foods / didn't care about the customers will take long and sit in the back while you wait , definitely don't go to the one in montbello area they have roaches and mold everywhere they made me work in it and serve people overall trash place all do too management and y'all wonder why you can't keep any workers

Just went here for the first time and will never return to this location. Very rude employee. We walked in and she was at the counter near the door and just started at us and said nothing as if we were an inconvenience. I asked if they took orders in store and she responded "at the registers" which you couldn't see from all the stuff piled on the counter tops. Reading other reviews it seems like this place frequently has rude employees. The picture also says it's a drive thru and it isn't anymore.

Was served by a young lady by the name of Jaelyn D who attempted to tell me she was unsure if she could make food because it was just her working and the others were on break. After her telling her it's fine I'll wait, she rolled her eyes and took the 7 minutes to make my food. Upon delivery of my food, I thanked her and said that wasn't too long. She replied with ignorance " get out of here". Food was fine though.
