Something has changed, and not for the better. We used to look forward to ordering every Friday night. The pepperoni rolls were to die for and we were so pleasantly surprised by the abundant toppings on the pizzas. We have been so disappointed lately. The past two pizzas have been barely better than frozen. We counted less than 10 pepperonis on a 14 inch pizza, the sauce and cheese were scarce, etc. what a drastic and disappointing difference.

The first time we ordered from Pelican Joe's, it was awesome! That was a couple of years ago, now it is hit or miss. I love their calzones, but the last time I ordered one, it was overcooked! We ordered on Friday night, because I could get a pesto sauce pizza for my granddaughter, she liked that. The extra cheese pizza I ordered was far from good. It looked like it had hardly any cheese on it at all. Was very disappointed!! I don't know that I will take another chance and order from them again!

Pretty good pizza - horrible service First time we ordered from them over the weekend- order placed at 5:47, given a delivery estimate of 6:47. 7:10 rolls around and no sign of pizza. Called in to see where it might be. Eventually told our order was never processed, but that they were putting our pizzas in the oven and we could have them in 25 minutes. Additionally, because of the missed order they would include a new receipt showing a "substantial" discount (I did not ask for this... but we were promised) Pizza finally arrived at 8:10 (20 minutes after the newly promised delivery time) and..., no receipt, no discount The reason we were given for the mix up was the football game & they were "busy" The pizza was pretty good, but not sure we'll get past the poor service to try them again.

We've eaten Pelican Jo's quite a bit in the last year, partially because it's so close to our house. Sometimes we dine in. Sometimes we get it delivered. The first experience was great, which is why we've tended to keep going back. But the quality is increasingly inconsistent. Tonight, the pizza was dry and cold, as if it had been sitting out for hours. The salad was flavorless, some of the lettuce brown and wilted. Two weeks ago, the pizza was great, hot and fresh and tasty. A month before that, they delivered the wrong pizza. When they delivered the right one, it was twice as much sauce and 1/4 the toppings as normal. Your experience is likely to vary. You might have a 5 star dinner. You might have a 1 star lunch. As for me, I won't be buying food here again.

Tonight was our first time going to this location. The pizza itself was pretty good. We got a standard pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was pretty decent. A little on the greasy side but I don't mind that.The service was not great. We were clearly sitting at a table so we were obviously eating there and the employee comes over drops the boxes on the table and says "have a good night." So I go up to the counter and the kid says "oh you need plates?" Uh yes we need plates because we are obviously there to eat. We then open the pizza box and little to no effort has been put into cutting the pizza so I take it back up and ask them to cut it again. Still failing to cut the pizza the second time it was a little easier to tear.Overall the place isn't that clean and it appears that no one really cares about the dining area. I get this place is in a gas station but I expected a little better.

Way better than any chain takeout. You can tell it's all homemade and fresh- the crust has amazing texture and flavor. The mango habanero sauce is also to die for. They're usually as fast as they say they are when they deliver. A must try!

Their delivery sucks. Driver put our pizza in the snow on our back deck instead of ringing the doorbell which is clearly a front door delivery, like I requested in my notes. If we had wanted to microwave pizza we would have bought from the grocery store. They use toast instead of a more reputable delivery service. $45 later we are super disappointed and we only eat delivery once a month per our budget. Will NEVER order from them again.

Pelican Jo's used to be one of our favorite pizza shops. They stopped delivering to us recently. Got a call after the order was placed. Guy told me they were "cracking down" on delivering to us. Cancelled the order and hung up. Won't be ordering again.

Jalapeño popper pizza just keeps us coming back, the crust is good and my husband enjoys the pizza rolls. We eat here a lot but it's a bit pricey. Otherwise it's always made fast and everyone in the family always likes it too.
Incredible pizza rolls, kind staff, quick service. But seriously AMAZING pizza rolls, we get them like once a week at this point. So so good.

We have ordered from Pelican Jo's so many times in the past. However, the last three times we have ordered it has been terrible! The garlic knots were so salty you could hardly eat them and the pizza has been so undercooked. We keep it pretty simple and it looks like somebody put the pepperoni on with their feet. It is pretty pricey and I expect more. The pepperoni covered about 2/3 of the pizza leaving the other 1/3 pretty bare. We purchased another pizza that had jalapeños and pineapple and the crust was so incredibly under cooked it had to be eaten with a fork and you could taste the rawness. This has been the norm for the last few times of purchasing Pelican Jo's in Milliken. They are very proud of their pizza. It is very expensive. When you make the decision to purchase it you expect more. At this time I would way rather have Little Caesar's.
