Food was decent but they hide the drink prices from the menus and table cards, then when the check arrives you find out one marg costs more than your meal.Tired of the predatory business practices in this town. They have gotten SO bad all throughout.

We went in for dinner and were seated by the host. He gave us some chips and salsa. More than 35 minutes later not a single waiter came over to get our order while tables around us had ordered and been served including the tables on either side of us. It was almost like we were invisible. There was about 5 seated tables out of 25? I guess I know why now. We ended up leaving. As we left we got “have a good night” from both one of the waiters and the bartender who were sitting by the front door… really a shame because it would have been great to get a post ski margarita especially since we were traveling from out of town!

The food here was on par or better than the alternatives in Winter Park and the price is right. For a new restaurant they are doing great! Above average service good margaritas and quick service on food. We will be back!

No go joe... "famous" 5 street tacos (see photo) for $20 was not a good value. "5 tacos" was really more like 3 worth of meat... not worth $4 each. These were $2 to $2.50 tacos (the ones with the most meat). 3 Taquitos w/ rice and beans for $20... horrible. Massively Overcooked taquitos (deep fried to death) so all you could tasted was oily fried tortilla. My 9 year old who loves taquitos would not eat them after 2 bites.

Honestly I've owned a place up here for years !! Azteca is 100 X better! This is subpar food at best ( being nice) . We came in and one waiter for the whole place! He told us the bartender was the best In town but also said we don't have a drink menu! Huh? They forgot our drink order twice. A small 12 oz marg was 18 dollars. Tastes like water down cheep tequila. We asked about the cost and they said that's what I was told to charge. The food was brought out one plate at a time and rice and beans were ice cold. One would think you can't screw up a quesadilla but yes they did that too! Chili Rellenos had nasty tasting brown chicken on it. Also the margs were brought out after the food when we were done eating. I never write reviews but felt I had too for the sake of visitors. Please for the sake of mankind don't go!!

Great Margaritas. Skip the mocajete, no bueno. I'm not sure how this place gets 4.5 stars. Needs some work.

Went there for lunch today. Had the menudo, carne asada, and a carnitas taco. When we arrived we were the only ones there for most our time there. Chips and salsa were underwhelming, the salsa tastes like tomato and onion blended together, no spice no other flavors. After ordering, it Took forever for us to get our food. The menudo was so bland, and the carne asada plate was very average. The carnitas tasted sooo old, the taco went straight in the trash. The menudo had a layer of grease on top, the hominy was not cooked thoroughly. And as soon as other ppl showed up the costumer service went downhill. It was expensive, and nothing had flavor. There are other places I would rather spend my money on. I would definitely pass on this place.
If you are from Texas, DO NOT EAT HERE! Food sucks compared to true Tex-Mex. The service was terrible also. Couldn’t even finish our food as it was not what we expected. Thank goodness we all got water as to not spend any extra money at this restaurant! Blah!

We went once earlier in the week and it was so good we decided to go back. The fajita quesadilla was amazing, and hot salsas are very good as well. The kitchen must have been under staffed at our 2nd visit because it took forever to get the food and we all received our food separately. The quesadillas barely had any meat or cheese and was not worth $17.99. Very disappointing because it was so good our first visit!

After a couple of hours of snow tubing this place hit the spot. The food was amazing and fresh. We had the steak and shrimp fajitas, my son had the steak and chicken fajitas, and my other son had the steak street tacos. Our server was very friendly and helpful. It’s a hidden gem that you must try.
