This place was beyond delicious! Next year we might eat there twice during our ski week. Don't miss trying the bacon-wrapped scallops as an appetizer - SO GOOD! And if the soup is clam chowder? It was the very best we've ever had! Beet salads are rare and this one was picture worthy & delicious! Everyone in our party of 7 loved their experience. Fontenot's is a must if you are in Winter Park - LOVE! (My son just echoed, "that place rocks!")Kid-friendliness: It's a grown up experience but they were great with the kids. Shirley Temples are festive :-)
They initially brought us bread and the bread was simply delicious. My wife and I both got the special which was redfish pan fried with 2 butterfly shrimp in a lemon caper sauce, mashed potatoes and vegetables and it was fantastic. It greatly exceeded my expectation. I give it my highest rating.

I came into this restaurant prepared for a somewhat expensive meal with my family but i was prepared to pay because i assumed that the food would be good. Little did i know this would be a worse mistake than not pulling out. not only was the food horrifically overpriced but it was also the worst italian dining experience i have ever had. not only does my wallet wish i never went to this restaurant but my toilet does too. the shrimp scampi made my insides feel suicidal. If you are considering dining here i would warn you not too if you do not want to question all of your life choices.

We had Robin as our server, love love love her. She was absolutely amazing. Food…to die for. We were skeptical at first because we’re from New Orleans and didn’t expect the food to even be as close to home but I promise it was so good!
Dining here after a fun snow day! Decided to give them a try. Immediately after walking in the atmosphere took us all in. Feels just like home. The food is delicious! Seasoned to perfection! We’re from New Orleans so we critique the food. From the appetizers , the drinks and the main course. Customer service A+100! Robin was exceptional! Very personable and knowledgeable. Definitely making Fontenot's a staple on our dining list when we’re visiting Winter Park

Wow, just wow! I rarely order a steak that I don't end up regretting; that was not the case here. Probably the best steak I've had in years! The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. If I ever come back to Colorado, I'm going to go out of my way to eat here again. I ordered the ribeye with grilled shrimp; and My friend ordered the Cajun combo. Perfectly cooked!

The food is always excellent here. The service was great. We and the specials and the go to blackened catfish. Yum! Fontenots never disappoints.
