“What a cool spot!! Slightly difficult to spot, don't overlook this really special spot!! The owners are on site and welcoming to all that stop by. There is a self serve beer, wine and cider wall - seriously!! The charge is by the ounce, so try a taste and see what you like! The system includes getting a personalized card that allows you to "self serve" their amazing brews. The food is also super - I tried one of the flat breads and wasn't disappointed. They were accommodating to a group of about 12 visiting - reserved some tables pushed together for our use and gave us great service. Yes! They did separate checks for everyone because you order using a QR code and pay on the app. They then deliver it to you at the table! Thank you!“

“Don't sleep on this place; Hopmeadow's beers are incredible and always true to style. Their staff is helpful & knowledgeable and truly family-owned & run which is rare these days. The place is gorgeous as well- so many personal touches and handmade art. Perfect chill spot for dates. They have lots of long tables so they're great for group hangs too. Go!!“

“We held my sister’s bridal shower in The Barrel Room earlier this month. The room is already cute - and we loved bringing in just a few little touches to add to the space! The team is so easy to work with. Our guests raved about the food - we got a veggie platter, some hors d’oeuvres, and pizzas. We brought in some charcuterie cones from The Gathering Board (they delivered!) and some cupcakes and the team helped us swap things out during the party. Loved being able to hook up a Spotify playlist as well. Great beer and wine too! I know a number of guests bought some beer on their way out. Thank you!“

“Great beer, great bunch of people, great fun. They have activities during the week and all sorts of food trucks. They have an outside beer garden when you don’t want to stay inside. Dog friendly on the outside, unfortunately not dog friendly on the inside. Other breweries are dog friendly as they do not cook food in the facility. Don’t know why Legitimus doesn’t do the same. I took one star off for that.“

“Hosted a small gathering here and everything was amazing! Reserving tables was quick and easy, and we were able to set up decorations/bring in our own food. Great selection of beers, cocktails, and liquor - and great staff too! Recommend this spot to enjoy a beer, or host a party!“

“Could this spot be any cooler? I grew up knowing all the lore around Dudleytown so this brewery was a must-try. They have food trucks but you can also bring in your own food/snacks. The beer is...wow. So good. The stouts are especially delectable. The place is huge and the outdoor space is beautiful but it was January when we went so we didn't sit outside. But I can't wait to go when it's warm. This place is a vibe for sure.“

They do offer flights so you get a chance to try everything. The most genius piece… Is the customizable, sour beers and seltzers. You heard me… Customizable. There’s a huge array of flavors that you can inject Into a solid sour beer base or a sparkling seltzer base. You will not be disappointed. And the customer service, amazing from start to finish. We felt welcomed as though this were our local neighborhood bar for decades. I would rate this a 15 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This is easily the best pizza and bar in town. The pizza is an absolute standout--crispy thin crust and consistently delicious. The beer selection is solid and the staff is always so friendly. We are so happy they do trivia now on Tuesday nights!Definitely worth adding New Park to a must visit.“

“Always a beer (or two or three) that I like at either the Hartford or the Bloomfield location. The different specials aren't easy to locate on social media - this brewery doesn't seem to participate on yelp either The bartender last weekend was so friendly and pointed out a great case special to us before we were leaving that we ended up purchasing. Not sure if they do case specials in the Hartford location - have only ever send them in Bloomfield and that makes sense based on the size of the location.If you bring your own growler, their prices are pretty good for a 64 oz refill.“

“Awesome brewery and beer. Backeast is also very creative with new beers and trying different ways to mix them. I personally like to see new things to try when I go to the brewery but still have those favorite staple beers they make. 5 stars“

“I went Friday, Feb 16th. It was busy as there was karaoke. One man was working. He did amazing. He kept everyone served and was just an awesome man all around. Very impressed not only with him but this brewery. I'll definitely be making my way back sometime.“

Additionally, he was very responsive to our many emails! The venue was beautiful, and it was a great location to get 100 people together to raise a glass to our live who passed.“
