Was in from out of town! Always make it a mission to try coffee shops that aren't a national known chain! Decided to stop here on my last day and was disappointed! Got a sausage egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel which was just eh! The iced coffee was ok, way too sweet especially after asking for just a little sugar, and the sour cream donut was good but was definitely from the day before! The worst part was the service! The blonde girl behind the counter was a complete sour puss! Her attitude made it clear she didn't want to be there!

A great affordable option for a quick breakfast treat. The BEC on an everything bagel is pretty good and I have enjoyed all the donuts I have tried.

Great donuts! Price is criminally low for how much you get and the quality. Cute vintage vibe. We were happy that we made a stop here.

I'd give this 5 stars if the manager/supervisor didn't ruin a good customer-to-server interaction while I was here. I came in with my partner & he had to use the bathroom before ordering food, so I greeted the server & interacted with him. But then his manager started telling him not to sweep or do cleaning tasks when "serving customers," even though she also knew I was waiting on my partner to order. She proceeded to just take the broom from him while blabbling her mouth, which made me feel even more uncomfortable & in turn, embarassed for the server. That conversation could have waited until we left. But nope, she had to go make it awkward for the server AND a paying customer. Customer interaction is an important part of food & drink service; therefore, if I interact well with servers & management, I'm going to enjoy the place more. But I felt embarrassed for the employee & incredibly awkward as a customer there, all thanks to a conversation that could have waited until they were in private. The food was great, but if you ~must~ correct or address something to your employee, do it PRIVATELY! Not in front of the customers. Your employees deserve to be treated with more dignity & respect than that.

Great local donut shop. The employees are very nice and quick. My favorite donuts are the whole glazed and chocolate glazed but they have more unusual donuts like fruity pebbles and Oreo.

Loved this as The Whole Donut and love the new S’wiches version. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. And the pastry? Anyone who thinks their donuts are like Dunkin’ is crazy! Fresh, high quality, interesting and super-tasty donuts that RULE over Dunkin’s, AND the donuts are like twice the size as Dunkin. Get there early on the weekend for an apple fritter. It will blow your tastebuds away! To top it off, the staff is professional and super-friendly. Love these guys!

I've visited twice in the past 9 months, including this week. Swiches, which used to be Whole Donut, has a great overall Yelp rating. After seeing the name in Yelp search results, I have to confess that I assumed Swiches was an abbreviation for sandwiches and that Swiches was a sandwich shop. On my first visit, I remember being surprised when I arrived in the afternoon to discover Swiches is primarily a donut shop. I bought a cherry donut and a bagel on that first visit. I remember thinking that the Cherry Donut was outstanding and the bagel was decent. I forgot to leave a review. Instead of scrolling through all my pics to leave a proper review, I just returned this week and took new pics.My cherry donut (like a glazed blueberry donut) this week was good, but not as good as I remember. The outer and inner texture weren't quite as good. I would guess it was made that day, but it didn't seem quite as fresh. My son gave me a couple bites of his Bacon Egg and Cheese on an Everything Bagel. The bagel was better than I remember. It was a pretty good BEC.There is seating inside and they also have a drive thru. The seating area does not have a lot of space in between tables and seats, and seats and other seats. I'm not sure everybody would find the seating comfortable.Swiches is a good donut shop and certainly better than the most common national donut chain in terms of donuts and BEC's. For me, it doesn't rise to 5 Star territory for CT donuts though.Four Stars

Donuts taste like Dunkin’ , egg sandwiches was made in the microwave. And they didn’t toast the bagel .. definitely don’t recommend this place.
