I am appalled by the customer service. I have ordered from here multiple times and would rate it the best sushi around, and I never had an issue. But I placed an order and had no choice but to cancel it only within 1 minute apart. I was approached with a super hostile manor and guilt for wasting food and “accusing them of lying”. I was very calm about the situation and sorry as well as confused as to why I was approached with such rudeness. Then as im speaking they hung the phone up on me. I called back and was hung up on immediately I called back 1 more time and once again was shown great hostility and anger from the male employee and hung up on. I’ve never experienced this kind of reaction especially since I’ve become a regular who had such great things to say and now that has been proven just bc the food is great Doesn't mean the people are. Mistakes happen I am appalled and very upset.

Been coming here for a few years now. Ehhhh. Food is hit or miss. Could be great, or fair. No consistency. My friend ordered the scallops in chili sauce. What he got was bay scallops in a watered down ketchup sauce. Cant remember what I ordered, but it was nothing to write home about.

I ordered delivery. On the website it says free delivery. The owner called me and said, "You did not take care of my driver. You did not give him a tip." I did not see on the website that I could leave a tip when paying through paypal. The woman was rude and kept insisting that I give her drive a tip. I ended up canceling my order and she was not able to refund me. Will not be ordering from here again.

My fiancé had a wonderful dinner here after a long day of hiking and boating. When we are in Danbury area we will make sure to come to Empire Szechuan again, the flavors are unforgettable! Don't mind the bad reviews on Yelp. We gave this place a shot and what a wonderful dinner, again will come again!

This was my first visit here and I was glad that I came! Great food, beautiful place and wonderful, friendly service. The ambience was delightful and even though my spicy food wasn't spicy, it was delicious and our waiter was very friendly. I will definitely come back here again!

Pretty place but overly priced. The rice in our sushi was old and dry. No wonder why it's always empty.Many time we gave it a chance but tonight the biggest disappointment.

We dine there several times a month, even several times a week at times. It appears the food portions are less the sushi they are not adequate even if it’s a lunch special I always ask where is the tuna or where is the salmon! No matter how many times you go there nor how much you spend they don’t give you anything for free not even fountain soda which costs nothing but we are charged each and every time $6-$9 for fountain soda. I am used to reciprocating good customer service especially when I spend several hundred a month to eat there. It’s time to take a break from there and find a restaurant where they appreciate my business. Oh and we tip well each and every time.
