We walked in the lady in front and said to sit ourselves. We sat there for almost 20 minutes. There were three tables with customers in the whole restaurant. The waitress walked by us twice and never acknowledged us. She only had us to serve the other customers who were already eating. She was NEVER going to serve us. When we walked out, Noone said anything. That's cool. I'm not a person of color who gets outraged by racist behavior. My $$$ is my power. Not only do I not patronize those establishments, but I will also encourage others not to. Enough said....

I personally think that Sycamore Drive-In is a great spot to dine. I don't often go but when I do it is a treat. The steakburger was my first experience with one and it was amazing. I really think that it was a very, very juicy burger. The fries are a great side and you can never go wrong with them. The real star of the show is the vanilla shakes. I could actually talk about their shakes for a few hours. It is unequivocally good to everything else in the restaurant. It is also a good size to price ratio. When me and my whole family dine here we leave full and happy in the car. The atmosphere of the 1950's-80's with arcade machines and vintage looking decor bodes well with the style of food. I really think these are the best burgers and fries in CT and will be a happy customer for years to come.

A definite remnant of the old days, and a fun place to eat. Playful vibe, decent diner food, small-town atmosphere, and tons of history. Prices are a bit much, but I still make it a point to go here once a month for their burger, fries, and chocolate milkshake combo. Recommended, for sure!

The real thing. Why go to Sonic when you can't get the team thing? This has been a drive in since the 50s. My favorite is the double onion burger...2 very thin beef patties, pressed into finely diced onion, then grilled. Yum!Oh .. And must get the root beer float... They make their own root beer!
Being from Michigan, I have never eaten here before. While visiting friends from New York, they took us here and am I glad they did! The place itself is like walking back in time and the food was marvelous! Will definitely be back on our next visit!
