I've tried almost every pizza joint in the greater Danbury area (including Bethel; Ridgefield; Brookfield; Brookfield) And Village Pizza beats them all Simply THE BEST !!

1.3 out of 10The worst pizza I've had in greater Danbury. How is this over 4 stars? so greasy and sooooo much cheese that the toppings don't stay on. The garlic knots were basically hard dough balls with no garlic and a sprinkle of Parsley. Overall a huge disappointment.Additionally, the online pricing does not match what you are billed.

This used to be the best pizza in the area. After the new owners took over, the pizza is horrible and way too salty. My last visit.

Bland tasting pizza. There's nothing added to make it memorable... needs seasoning ie. oregano, salt, pepper, etc.. which could easily make Village Pizza one of the best in the Danbury/ Bethel area. Their dough is certainly an upgrade to others in the vicinity. I will give them 3.5 for their buffalo chicken pie!

Place is very clean. Staff is friendly and tidy looking. Slice selectiin was very good. Menu is very nice with good options. Enough room to sit inside and eat without feeling cramped. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled drinks. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitly stop by again when im in the area.

Small but might place to eat. Pizza and entrees are always hot and delicious. Try the Hot and Spicy pizza, it's amazing.

Passing by this cozy bilingual little pizzeria, limited free parking. Not 100%.accessibility a small step by front door, chairs for sitting arrangement which are accessible. Very polite staff and service, many come for take out. I ordered calzone, which was made fresh calzone, blue cheese, which I may add is not my preference, but it was made very creamy and delicious. They also provide hot pastas and cold sandwiches. I'm looking forward to returning again.

The food is pretty good! I live in Bethel and this is used to be a regular spot for me but not anymore... one of the guys who works there (could be the manager or something) has a super nasty attitude... just a genuinely grumpy fella. Every time I go in there he seems very upset to have a customer (and nope, I don't go there right after it opens or right after it closes either!) He seems very upset to have to do work.. and on more than one occasion he messed up my order and was very not cool about it. The first time, I ordered a chicken parm hero, he gave me someone else's eggplant parm instead by accident.. when I got home, I called, and he said "I can make you another one but you have to come back for it" - no offer to refund the card, didn't throw in an order of garlic knots for the trouble of having to drive back there.. nada. The second time, I ordered fries, he didn't include the fries.. I called to inform him and he said I'd have to come back out there to get it... but then like why order DoorDash..? Again, no offer to refund, didn't include anything for the trouble, and was somehow upset with ME for calling him and asking about the fries.....??

Just started coming here about 5 months ago. I like Pizza where the cheese stretches when getting your slice. Greasy with meat toppings. Next morning leftover not stale. Pasta cooked just right. Enough sauce to cover. Grinders packed end to end. Keep coming back.

We happened to be in the area and looked up a pizzeria nearby. What made me go was that reviewers said it was the best NY style pizza. Being a native New Yorker my family and I decided we would go confirm this ?. I am happy to report it was a pleasant invitating, cozy place.....being in there with 5 kids did not make me feel uncomfortable like in other places. Now let me tell you reviewers were NOT wrong!!! This was the best pizza ever, EVER we have had since moving from NY now almost 5 years ago!!!! We truly felt at home!!!! In all these years we have tried countless pizzerias and none just hit the spot. Cheese, crust and sauce are just never the right combinations. But with Village Pizzeria I was blown away. It was SO so good that we ordered and ate 3 large pizza pies ON SITE with no left overs!!!! Even my twins who are 5 and tiny ate 3 slices each, which is unheard of! If you haven't given these guys a try, YOU ARE TRULY missing out!!!! Now the sad part is we live 40 min away, so we won't be able to get it as often as we wish we could. BUT we will for sure make the trip without doubt and I look forward to being back soon, not once or twice but as many times we can!! Thank Village Pizzeria for such amazing pizza!!! You made us re-live our old NY days and we are so happy we have finally found the place that makes us feel like back home ?
