Ordered take out. Paid 22 dollars for under cooked pasta and a side salad that consisted of lettuce and one slice of tomato and cucumber. For less than 10 dollars I could have gotten a better microwavable pasta and a big salad at the grocery store. They didn't even give me any utensils or napkins.

Very quaint place. The food, service and atmosphere are excellent. The ribbon eggplant appetizer is excellent. Always consistent with the food here.

Ok, this place has been here for a bit, I've been looking for decent chicken francese for a bit, but I'm pretty disappointed, $27, for 1 regular sized chicken breast, covered in garlic pieces, and shallots, and potatoes so thin, the garlic slices were bigger, the penne alla vodka we got tasted like marinara, I have no problem spending upwards nof $60-70 for takeout for 2, but this? $60 after the tip, I work in the industry and I feel so bad even writing this but, it just wasn't for me

Food was tasty. Had pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs. Portions could be larger for price. Waitress was odd and defensive. Get a screen door so the wasps don't swarm people when they're eating.

The food is always amazing. Great setting in Branford. Service is always pleasant. We enjoy going here for date nights.

My second visit here. This time I tried the lasagna. It was one of the best I ever tasted. Surpassed only by my first visits tender, delicious veal Parm. This chef knows how to cook Italian.Highly recommend.

Good Italian food can be a bit pricey, but is tasty. Good place to go for a drink & an appetizer.

Nestled away from North Main Street is this hidden gem of Italian food. Their marinara sauce is delicious and their portions are just right. It can be a little noisy but it's a good dinner spot for the area ( even if it may take a minute to find parking don't let that deter you.)Parking: Not a lot of parking but worth the effort.

I was very pleased with my experience here, kindly greeted and seated upon entering and was served a delicious meal. They offered a unique and refreshing drink menu, and the chef even came around to ask how our experience was. Would definitely return if in the

So I saw this on Facebook & thought it was worth a try. Holy hell in a hand basket!!!! Sesame crust tuna, seared, tossed with house smoked jalapeños, a wasabi drizzle from heaven. Marissa can create any cocktail you can conjure.

I never give great reviews. I'm from NYC as you may read of my past postings and have yet to find a place that can compete with the restaurants back home; although this is my place of residence now. This place is the best. Everything is fresh and full of differentiating flavors which is very important. Otherwise everything tastes the same. Lasagna is fantastic their MB's are better than my moms and the staff is very friendly; especially the owner who makes it his mission to please you.Adding to review. The chef owner could really cook like a bitch. Food flavored to perfection. Veal chop is the best I ever had....

First time my partner and I got food here it was so good. We’ve been four more times and every single time we go we end up having gross chicken. Either it’s chewy or extremely dry. My partner has also felt sick to his stomach the past few times after we’ve eaten here. It’s a shame because the customer service is great but the food has been bad. We spend $70-$115 when we go and every single time we end up regretting it :\

My wife and I had gone on a date-day adventure and prior to heading out I wanted to find a nice restaurant for dinner. Rossitto's was close to where we would be and it had favorable reviews. To be honest, we are used to disappointing restaurant experiences in CT...from abysmal service, disappointing food, etc. Rossitto's was quite the pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a feel of walking into your grandmother's kitchen - you knew they wanted you to feel like family. They brought bread and pickled green beans to the table. Both were great! My only complaint was it took some time to get our salads, but they too were good. For entrees, my wife had the pasta and meatballs and myself the Ribeye. Both portions were HUGE. My wife loved her food, and my ribeye was possibly the best I have had yet. Service was friendly, attentive. Pricing was very fair considering portion sizes ad quality....I have spent a lot more for a lot less.
