The food was horrible, no seasoning no flavor, just all bad. I booked based on the Open Table emails for best brunch in CT. It was definitively NOT the best brunch, more like the worst. The decor/ambience was decent, nothing to rave about, nothing to complain about. They had a live music performer at brunch, which was nice. The staff and service was good. But that food.... NO, never again, very disappointing. I ordered the morning yankee breakfast and the cannoli crepe and my firend ordered the steak and eggs. The bacon was limp and greasy, eggs had no flavor, the crepe was thick, the filling was not sweetened and my friend's steak came over done with no seasoning. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Wait staff extremely friendly. Food was fantastic! 1st time being in Bridgepoint and cannot wait to come back! Thank you for making my 1st experience here so memorable!

Food of CT

Black Rock Social is one of the more unique restaurants that I’ve visited because of their entirely gluten-free menu and dedication to showcasing internal cuisine. We had the opportunity to try some really interesting dishes, like rabbit fricasse from their French menu, that we otherwise may have never tried! For the most part, I couldn’t tell that the menu was entirely gluten-free. The chocolate soufflé was one of the items that stood out to me the most! I will definitely be suggesting this spot to my gluten-free friends.

The food was good! The service was good! They were busy and it took a while to get drink refills and our check at the end of the meal. The noise level was moderate. Overall a good experience.

I can't say enough how much I love BRSH. To be able to go out with friends, to not have to worry about gluten hiding in something, to know whatever I choose will be safe to eat. On top of that, everything is delicious so I can take non-gluten-free friends there and not have to worry that they won't like the food.

All I can say is, I wish I lived closer so I could come back here!! I was originally looking for a safe restaurant for my daughter who has Celiac Disease. This place was so much more than a dedicated gluten free kitchen!!!!! The food was amazing! The service was fantastic and the owner was so personable!! We ordered from the brunch menu and there was something delicious for everyone! No one missed gluten and I didn't have to worry that my daughter would accidentally ingest it!!! We will definitely be back when we are in the area and I will tell my family and friends who live in the area that this place is a gem of a restaurant!! Can't wait to try the everyday menu!!!

Black Rock Social House consistently delivers: delicious, creative menus, outstanding waitstaff and a fun, welcoming vibe. This month's special menu is Canada, and I tried the poutine & the Canadian Old Fashioned - both excellent. Hubs had the Ropa Vieja Tots and those were great as well.

We had an awesome brunch in their outside patio. Our server so super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Great variety of options and no worries about cross contamination from gluten. Will definitely be back.

Huge menu, ALL GLUTEN FREE!! The food was delicious. We went back for brunch and it was excellent. This place will definitely be our "go to" spot in the future.

We started out with miniature chewy mussels in a broth lacking in flavor. How do you make gluten free spaetzle that tastes good? You don't. An incomprehensable tasteless pile of mush. The pork schnitzel was passable, but whatever else was on the dish was not. Easily one of the most ripped off I've felt this year. A table was very boistrous as we were leaving, obviously they had not gotten their food yet. Hard pass.

Awesome food, especially if you have celiac. You would have no idea that this is an entirely gluten-free restaurant if you walked in there off the street. Food was amazing can't wait to go back!

We were able to share G/F food with everyone at the table, which is a true rarity in today's dining. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant, and looking forward to visiting during the 'live entertainment' times!

Very friendly staff/owner but the fried food was way over cooked and dried out (calamari; fried Chicken bites). Ricotta gnocchi also dry. It’s too bad because the place is cute and the owner is very nice. Cocktail was well done and tasty.

Walked in on a Sunday and at first no one paid attention to us , place was way over crowded , that we asked how king would it be for a table and were told at least 25 minutes .. problem here wasn't the waiting time , problem was the host wasn't necessarily very friendly .. we decided to go elsewhere because if they treat you like that when you walk in .. what kind of service are you really going to have ?? No thanks

We had a large table of people. Everything we ate was delicious, as were the drinks! The staff was very accommodating and thoughtful. The owner was very friendly and kind as well as fun. All together a great time! We went to see our favorite band and a wonderful time was had by all! I can't wait to go back.
