Food isn't the best. The acapurias are like rubber. The stewed beef is full of fat and is tough. Black puddings are salty. The customer service is bad. After so many years, Eddie the owner still doesn't know how to treat a regular customer.Example: I ordered a combo plate, and asked that instead of putting the beans on top of the rice or in the same plate, to put it apart in a small cup. Then they charged me $3 for the beans. They tried to say it's because the combo plate comes with only a small amount of beans and the cup was a larger quantity so they had to charge me.They make no sense.1.) The amount of beans was the same.2.) But, since they put it in a separate plastic cup, I have to get charged. They’re charging me $3 for a disposable plastic cup.Eddie needs to learn better customer service skills. He acted like there was nothing else he could do.How about saying:-“Just give me $0.25 cents for the cup.” or-“I won’t charge you today, but next time you have to pay if it’s separate.”Just two simple things a great business owner would do to keep his customer happy. Instead of saying “that's the way I have to charge” and then taking the beans back because I didn't want to pay $3 for the little plastic cup.(If you want good acapurias go to die live.)The food is not the best. Your fry food is too salty. I like salty food but that is extreme. Makes it hard to enjoy it.

If I could, I'd give this 3.5 stars. The Service was ok, but nothing special. The prices are not cheap, we paid $94 for 2lbs of blood sausage, 8 potatoes balls, 1 mofongo and one plate of dine in food, but it's not as pricey as other places either.Parking is tight as it is a busy place, though it's high turnover. The place is pretty clean and open spaced. The food is nothing particularly special, but it is mostly made fresh for you which I really appreciated.Overall, I would recommend it and will come back back here in the future at some point.Next time I will stick to the Morcilla, Bolitas de papa and maybe some mofongoVegetarian options: I wouldn't come to a puerto rican joint for vegeterian fare.Parking: There's isn't much but you can find it. May have to waitWheelchair accessibility: It's all one level off the street, so yeah I guess so.
