This place is absolutely amazing! The buffet has a wonderful selection of fresh hot food and a wonderful salad bar as well. The owner and manger are very friendly and professional! The ambulance is very causal and nice, there is a lot of Bridgeport pride evident with a beautiful mirual of some nice landmarks of Bridgeport. Come in and you will be treated like family!

the wrap was good, the penne and chicken was not up to par. The buffet price is 19.99, I will be on to my second this and let you know if its worth the price

So I was walking and couldn't figure out what I wanted to eat till I went in inside here just to look at what they have and I was yea I can rock with this, omg the food! Is banging , especially they ziti omg I didn't like the rice too much it was salty but everything else was on point I will be going back. I should've stayed and ate. It reminds me of a barbeque or some outdoor event with everything to eat.

The buffet is always fresh. You can also order freshly made sandwiches and sushi. Food is always good and there is always a great spread! Breakfast and lunch are always good

Customer service was excellent. Prices were ok. This might be my go to spot for breakfast if I'm the area..

Foods Amazing??????♥️♥️♥️.. It is one of the best Brazilian sandwich spots in Bridgeport. The also have a variety of foods from sushi to soul.
Ignore the exterior, the sandwiches and food are very good and the employees are friendly and helpful. It's a little overwhelming; there is an ice cream station, a deli, a coffee area, and in the center is a buffet. We had sandwiches, there were fantastic and filling.

Shoutout to Val and the good people at Funchal's! This is their 3rd location, downtown Bridgeport since what? 2011 They know how to be flexible in an ever changing market for local cafe's and that especially means a lot, in a city like Bridgeport. Their menu always works and they really know how to meet the needs of their customers. Their locations are clean, safe, and comfortable. Service is on point and I can't be grateful enough that they're still around. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the greedy person in me is kicking myself because they had some kind of fried rice up there next to everything else, but I didn't get it. At any rate, do yourself a favor and stop in to get something to eat or drink. They're great for first thing in the morning or court downtown or waiting for your next bus. They have seating inside and outside.

Earlier this evening me and my friend decided to stop by this restaurant for the very first time. Remind you I am very skeptical when it comes on to eating certain food but Funchal Americana have the MOST tasteful and delicious food ever. I must say I was amazed. The food tasted sooo damm good. My gosh ? I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
