I got shrimp and broccoli, and the shrimp smelled and tasted so expired and spoiled. It looked like it has not been refrigerated for a long time and is experied. It smells fishy(bad kind) to. And everytime I order from this restaurant, I forget about the bad shrimp and I get the same kind of bad food over again.

Ordered a bunch of food the spring rolls and egg rolls were excellent fantastic fried dumplings really good lo mein orange chicken smells delicious but haven't gotten there yet delivery driver was courteous kind with a smile on his face the only downside is the lady who answers the phone doesn't speak very good English.other than that excellent place to go better Chinese food here than anywhere else in Bridgeport that delivers.....

So sad that they are now under new management! Seven Stars used to be my go-to spot for Chinese takeout in Bridgeport (had been a consistent customer for 15+ years), but it's safe to say that I will not be returning. Tried their food for the first time under new management and was not impressed. I used to be greeted by friendly staff who basically knew my order by heart and prepared it perfectly each time. This time the staff seemed clueless and the food was so greasy and bland it was barely edible. I used to get tofu and mixed vegetables with vegetable fried rice often, but the dish I received this time was like cheap cafeteria food at best. Not worth the price. Never again.

Pros: You get large portion sizes for your money. The food is a little better than average and they are pretty fast. I do pickup (usually ready in 15-20 min) Cons: Delivery usually takes around 1- 1 1/2 hours. I live 2 miles away. It shouldn't take that long, but then again I mostly pick it up myself.

I have been ordering food from Seven Stars for years. HOWEVER.. two words of caution... 1) Their delivery is chronically slow to the point of sometimes never showing up or being up to an hour or more. Friday and Saturdays...beware! The current "family" that is doing it is great! Usually half hour or less 2) Although I do think their General Tso's is the best around, lately their steamed dumplings have been awful! They should be called steamed dough with very little meat. Yuck. Way too much dough! I literally left half uneaten last night.
Ownership changed two months ago. Our first experience with the new folks was positive in terms of the food. The food came in hearty portions, taste was solid, and they now use a POS system to precisely charge consistently. The previous owners became our friends after years of ordering and visiting their establishment. Big shoes to fill. Best to what the future may bring. I would order again after our first delivery. Rated 3 stars because it did take over an hour to reach our door and the young lady taking orders could care less about customer service. Negative tone, attitude, and representation. *** Update *** They hired a new person to take orders! Way better.. knocked it to 4 stars :)

I have been coming to this place for 30 years since they opened and I just found out that the owners have retired and it changed hands. A note to the new owners step up your game because it's not going well so far I ordered the Pu-Pu platter and it contained spareribs and chicken fingers instead of the five items that it usually has Plus the other items I ordered the taste went downhill dramatically. This is my third try with the new owners so I'm going to try you guys again next month to give you time to address your situation and will update this post if it warrants it.

Got sweet sour chicken and egg drop soup from here. second time I was giving the place a chance with the same order and I didn't even get the same thing. Food is unpredictable for example one time I get sweet sour sauce other time I get two different sauces. Also delivery driver was just awful in attitude. Will never order from here again.

Nov.29.16 The delivery took a long time over an hr and a half they got lost called me multiple times reasking my address,you would expect a GPS in their delivery car But I assume theyre so poor they can't even pay attn !!!! Then finally when the food arrived ,the chicken wings was dry n old like they gave me yesterday s leftovers The rice order was incorrect What is so hard not to put vegetables ? Seven stars doesn't even deserve one star *

Be careful, the prices all depend on who answers the phone. When a young guy takes the order it's always at least ten dollars more. Not giving my business to then anymore. I didn't want to give any stars but the app wouldn't let me.
