The breakfast sandwiches were definitely not worth the 45 minute wait and rude service. The Slenderizer was mushy and void of flavor, except the salt sprinkled on the wrap.

I cannot get beyond the Tasty Yolk’s Mother Clucker chicken sandwich. Try as I might while looking over an impressive array of food, I always order this extraordinary sandwich. Wonderful fried chicken breasts, vinegar-based Korean BBQ, and a spicy sauce on a brioche bun. After eating it, I am ready for another!

My husband and I took a drive to The Tasty Yolk to try their fried chicken sandwich, which we read about in Connecticut Magazine. This has been my favorite food since childhood, so I was really looking forward to trying it. No disappointment here....they were fabulous!!! If you like savory, try the Mother Clucker. If you prefer spicy and sweet, try the Nashville. Both were extra crispy and delicious on the outside and moist and cooked to perfection on the inside. The portion was huge, both had two chicken breasts!!! We can’t wait to go back and have another chicken sandwich....?
