Huge portions of delicious food at lower prices than anywhere around. The most attentive service that I think I've only otherwise experienced in very expensive restaurants.Warm atmosphere, filled with locals. One of the top few diners that I have ever eaten at. Can't wait to go back. I keep trying to justify in my mind the cost of travel from Long Island just to again have such an amazing breakfast!

I found White's Diner while looking for a local non chain place to eat before we left the area on a Sunday morning to return home. The diner had positive reviews so we decided to give it a try in support of local establishments. It's a small , quaint place located on a busy intersection and shopping plaza. The first challenge we encountered was finding a place to park, once I found a space we entered and didn't have to wait to be seated, which was nice since we were anxious to get on the road for the long trip back home. There was a bit of a wait from the time we ordered until the food arrived but it was worth it. The portions were large , served fresh and hot. I had to take the rest of my order in a to go box. I ordered blue berry pancakes, omelet with peppers and onions and a bowl of grits (I don't often eat grits at unknown restaurants) each of the items were prepared to order and were very good. The only negative to the experience is that we didn't feel the waitstaff was attentive after we placed the order, not once did she come by to see if we were enjoying the food, or if we needed anything else i.e. napkins, more juice etc. Even when I asked for the to go container another waitress handed it to me.I see a lot of the reviews complimenting the staff being bilingual and that's a plus as many Spanish speaking patrons entered the establishment and we could hear the conversations as they were seated and exchanged pleasantries with the staff. We didn't feel or receive the same type of welcome or exchange .I recommend the diner for breakfast, however, more consideration should be given to make all customers feel welcomed and appreciated.

I ordered fried whiting for take out and it was AWFUL! Old frozen fish fried harder than the soles of my shoes! We couldn’t even eat it! I called and they offered me NOTHING but an apology ???. I wasn’t able to go back because of work. DO NOT ORDER THEIR FISH! I will not be back there ever again!

I do not recommend this diner to anyone. They do not know how to cook.

This diner was featured in the movie Righteous Kill; I've been sitting on the bar stool lately, so I'm not sure if they still have it labeled, the table Al Pacino sat on was marked. Even though the food looks average and isn't so photo worthy, I like to come here because their food is decent and the prices are great for their large portions, especially the dine-in specials. They now accept credit cards. Plan your trip early because they close at 3pm daily.

Only issue, bathrooms VERY small so hard to get into and no room if you have walker or wheelchair for sure.
