Just now, my boyfriend stood outside in 90° in the blazing hot sun for 25 minutes waiting to order. The girl at the window told the woman in front of him that they were now closed. You could hear the fry cook yelling in the back that an alarm was going off and he was done working. Online says they are open until 8 pm. If there was some sort of holiday hours, those should have been posted outside OR the girl at the window should have come out a LONG TIME AGO and told everyone in line they were closing. If it was a fire alarm issue, she should have said they are investigating a fire alarm and would you possibly like to buy a cold drink since you stood out on our scorching hot black top for almost a half hour while you waited for nothing? That was an extreme disappointment, unprofessional, and I will never ever recommend anyone going there based on this horrid experience.

2 stars for friendly service, but the food is not great and was too expensive for what it is. I could have gotten more food at Wendy's for $20. I ordered 1 large drink, a burger, a 5 PC chicken tenders, and a small fry. It was $19 and change. The "tenders" are like flat long chicken nuggets, they taste like schoolyard chicken patties, and were $7. The fries were undercooked and unsalted and the burger was like a frozen patty. Unsatisfied, was hoping for a good new place to try. Really wish they had "platters" or meals that came with sides and not individually sold. Maybe thier hotdogs and ice cream is better?

Their burgers are excellent and very reasonably priced. The only downside is the pandemic is now they require cash only for payments. Their hotdogs are really good. I recommend the Michigan hotdog with the meat sauce on it. It’s excellent and for those of you who don’t like to order fries all the time you can get beans and coleslaw, which is a nice change . As usually fast food places have only french fries . well for those of us who can’t eat fries all the time , it’s wonderful I can order beans and coleslaw. I haven’t tried their clam strip roll yet or their ice cream but everything else that we’ve had has been really good and they keep the tables extremely clean. I noticed during the pandemic they had a young kid sitting there with a bottle of cleaner, and as soon as you left the table, he sanitized everything very neat and clean so we felt safe going there . You could eat in your car or you could eat at one of their tables outside. This is a seasonal place so they’re open I believe in mid April and close. I wanna say September late September maybe October don’t quote me on that. Enjoy!

Not very satisfied with food. Clam strips were burnt and onion rings and chicken strips were cold. Very disappointed.
Buster's quality has been going down hill for quite a number of years despite its costs going up. And now they can't seem to keep enough of a daily preparation stock to make Coney or Michigan dogs 2 hours before close.

Very Disappointed! For over 40 years, we would often stop at Busters when we went to Terryville. It was usually a highlight of the drive. We enjoyed the good food that was always served and the outdoor seating. We've noticed over the past couple of years, the quality go down.Today, it appears they may have bottomed out. We ordered 2 Clam Rolls and Onion Rings only to be told they don't have Clam Rolls, just Lobster Rolls at $18 each. We questioned the cashier because the huge menu board beside us clearly said "Clam Strip Rolls $8.50" She first offered boxed clams then finally asked someone in back who informed her they do have Clam Rolls. We got our food & hurried home because it was so hot outside. Upon opening the rolls, we found over-cooked, dried-out, chocolate brown "clam strips" in barely toasted rolls. One of the rolls wasn't even full size.The Onion Rings were so oily, you could practically wring them out. Most of them were thrown away.If you remember the Buster's of years gone by, just keep going right by this one. It's nothing like you remember.

Best Meat Sauce for hotdogs in the 3-4 town area….along with yellow mustang and diced onions. Fantastic. Fries, onion rings and home made mozzarella sticks are excellent.Never been disappointed going here for some goood old American food.
