The snow squall on Saturday had an unintended benefit for me. I got stuck at the pet shop in whiteout conditions and decided that, instead of heading west into the Storm, I headed east to the golden pagoda for dinner. I've been there a long time ago and boy was I glad to go today. It is officially my favorite Asian restaurant in Bristol. Everything from appetizers to a combination plate was absolutely excellent. I can't wait to go back.

Overall best chinese in my area. Their pork fried rice is the best flavored around. I love their boneless spare ribs. They make it with red sauce like the NY style that I'm used to. They are a bit more pricier but you get what you pay for. Combination plates are smaller than most places so if you want to get the most bang for your buck I suggest you stick to ordering pints if you're going to try here.

Very positive experience. We were given the option to either dine inside, or outside under their tent. Our waitress come to us shortly after settling in at our table. And both we received both our salads our dinner without having to wait long between the salad and entree, which were both delicious. In addition we were given a very good bread and bread dip to enjoy during our short wait for our salad. Overall very good food and enjoyable dining experience.

I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be pretty good. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. Now I can say it definitely is in the running for the worst. The food isn't cooked well. Just thrown together without regard to technique or taste. It's visually unappealing. I take no joy in giving it a negative review. These days of Covid-19 I feel it's important to support these restaurants but they can't use this time to serve up the garbage I've seen as of late.
