Great local restaurant. Outstanding food, wonderful service, fair prices and an excellent Margarita! We've been on several occasions and will continue to enjoy their fare. When I call to make a reservation and let them know that there will be a wheelchair involved this restaurant could not be more accommodating. They help with the door and have a very accessible table well prepared. This is absolutely one of our favorite places to enjoy a meal if not our favorite. To the good people of Monterey I can only say, "Gracias"!Wheelchair accessibility: It's very accessible and if you forewarn them that a wheelchair will be in use they go out of their way to accommodate you.
We got food to go. Because of a large catering order ahead of us, our promised pickup time was a 20 minute wait after arriving. Only one person was available to wait tables, handle the bar and and counter.The food was good, but lacked the traditional Mexican seasonings of other restaurants.Vegetarian options: The menu mentions veggies being available, but the online order form shows no veggie option. We ended up calling the restaurant to get the veggies

Food was a little bland, needed to be kicked up in the spice area a little.Would be nice if they turned the heat up in the winter. We were sitting by the window, but the tables around us were complaining also.Service and drinks were good.

They upcharged almost 4% for credit card fees even though we were paying in cash.. Prices in the menu are different than in the actual bill.We spent two hours mostly waiting for food which was okay but if you want extra hot sauce is an additional $3. When I complained the manager said that they give free chip and salsa.

Without a doubt the BEST Mexican in western ct. Everything on this menu is exceptional, their prices are average, and the service is fast and kind. As someone who misses the food I had access to while living near the border, I come to this place whenever I can.Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly.
I've been here twice now. This is a hidden gem. Drinks are above average. Food is good. Price is in line for whatvuou get. This is gonna become my go to place for happy hour Mexican food. The bar are is small but it's very comfortable
