Near Farmington, the service was very fast and excellent, we enjoyed the coffee and hash-browns. Casual atmosphere.

Nothing like Rodd's Revolting Restaurant to start your weekend off on a bad note. Having been here many times before, I knew full well what I was getting into, but thought maybe they had finally turned things around. No such luck I'm afraid, for once more have I given them the benefit of the doubt, and once more has Rodd given me the shaft.Well on this particular morning I had the patent displeasure of ordering something they like to call "Craig's Slam." I don't know who Craig is, but his eponymous dish gave me the urge to slam my head through a plateglass window in frustration. The onions were undercooked, the peppers were raw, and the (rubbery) eggs had a faint yet pervasive taste of sweet potatoes. But don't just take my word for it. If you'll take a moment to reference my photos, then you too can witness this foul, eldritch, and otherworldly abomination. Bristol Hospital is just down the street, perhaps they swapped out my order with the contents of a bedpan by mistake, because no sane person would willingly serve this to another human being. But if feculent foodstuffs weren't enough to turn you off, Rodd and the gang are apparently playing it fast and loose with basic safety protocol. When my coffee arrived I opened a little container of half and half only to be knocked back by its alarmingly sour aroma. Opened a second one, exact same thing. I opened a third and ghosts flew out and melted my face off. I got better, but still made sure to inform the waitress next time she made her rounds over to the table. "Yeah, but they're drinking them over at the counter" she replied dismissively, without even offering to replace them with a batch of fresh creamers. For the first time in years, I drank my coffee black. All in all I'd say my breakfast was bush league, but frankly this was beneath bush league. It was so egregious this place deserves to be bush whacked. And the staff seem woefully unaware that there's even a problem. No leadership or quality control, it's like this place is being run by a vegetable. Do what thou wilt is the law over at Rodd's, and for that I award them one solitary sinister little star. It's high time Rodd packed it up and rode off into the sunset. Hopefully I don't get amnesia and come back again in a year.

My 5 year old Granddaughter recommended this breakfast place on our last visit and she was right! We went for lunch, got a delicious Breakfast Burger, egg and bacon inside perfectly cooked Hamburger, toasted Roll. My wife got a cheeseburger that was juicy and delicious, and Granddaughter got her favorite chocolate chip Waffle! Fries were crispy and big! Price was right on! Visit...eat...we'll be back!

I live across the street and decided to give it a try. The food was good and the service was great. Staff members are very friendly, and I left with a smile.

Very nice staff! Great value for a meal too!! We had breakfast for 4 people and the bill was about $35!! Crazy! The portions were not small either! I had scrambled eggs, home fries, and homemade corn beef hash. It was really good. It's a place you might drive by and never notice but it is worth checking out!!

Good food & great customer service, thank you for being here!

Wasnt bad and service was friendly and fast! Prices were very fair and the menu had a good amount of offerings! However the potatoes had an odd taste to them and the omelette was very thin. It was like they used 1.5 eggs. My wife was not impressed with the food. I thought the amount inside the omelette was generous enough! Overall great service, food quality was mediocre. Gave waitress a great tip. I would go back again but maybe ask for extra toast vs home fries.

Inquired about catering from the owner Gina. Went into rodd’s on the go to talk about what she offers and what the pricing would be. Gina was very rude would not speak to me or my fiancé we where only handed a piece of paper with items and prices and got told to “come back later” I understand that different businesses work differently. But this was just unprofessional and rude and poor customer service. I do not recommend if this person can’t be bothered with a customer. Then take this as a warning to not waste your time or money on some cheap mircrowave meals.

You want a good solid breakfast for an affordable price then this is the place to come.. You get a lumberjack breakfast for around $8-9. The staff are nice people, kind.. Food quality - very good, my pancakes were excellent, eggs were done the way I wanted them, sausage was good, hash browns were crispy.. atmosphere - nice for what it looks like on the outside... Booths are the only tables and it has a rustic charm to it. I highly recommend bringing the entire family to Rodd's Diner...
