I have been here for a few times even back when it was still in the Shops. While I enjoy the selection of food they have I have always been left wanting more. Last time I had gone was two friends and we all were able to order something different which was nice. My food was fine up until finding a hair in my burger. The waitress was understanding and offered to have the kitchen make me a new burger to take home with me and comped the meal. Overall, I would probably choose to go to another establishment if given the option.

I arrived and there was a wait but the lady standing there said they will come up in a min and take your name …I saw one waitress look right at me and start to head over then turned around and did something else but after completing the task she never came over.. the bar tender woman also saw us but never took the time to assist…my daughter and I stood there waiting and waiting and waiting…a random man walk in went up to the bar tender and asked for a table she said ok just give me a few minutes . Finished what she was doing grabbed menu and sat him down. Like you saw me standing there way before this man but gave him a seat right away. Shame on me for not doing the same!!! Finally she came over after sitting the other person down to just tell me it will be a little longer…wow seriously!! We then stood there for another 10 minutes …then was finally sat down. When entering the dining room there was 5 empty tables ??‍♀️ the place is not that big and they had 4 people waiting on tables and another bring out the food and a bar tender I really didn’t understand why I had to wait but whatever! It’s not my restaurant and maybe they just run stuff differently!! The team doesn’t appear to be organized at all and lack of leadership is obvious….we both decided to have breakfast for dinner. My daughter’s scramble eggs were good and her bacon was cooked perfectly. I ordered an Omelette with home fries and toast. The omelette I had was dry but I did eat the stuff in the middle…The home fries are very gross. ? no flavor and dry, no seasoning just very bland! I was really hoping this place was going to be good but not for so much!! I hope the leadership will give the team more direction and revisit flavor with the cooks.

Dish N Dat is where it’s at! Especially the eats, service and of course the 50’s style atmosphere! On top of all that, it’s a pro military/veteran place dishing out taste. We weren’t halfway through our meal before we couldn’t wait to come back and try something else of the home cooked menu. Thanks for YOUR service Dish N Dat.Vegetarian options: They have optionsDietary restrictions: They can accommodateParking: They have two lots and a parking space designated for veterans or active military. First time here and a wonderful little Gem that we found, the food was wonderfully Fresh and a great selection. If you want lunch the menu will be served exactly at 12pm, the breakfast menu looked great but we had to wait 7 minutes for the lunch. The waitress we had was wonderful on top of everything and always made sure are drinks were topped. The Ambiance is what I grew up on with my parents of 50s and 60s music which was quite comforting to me, if I imagined a diner in the 50s I think this place came close to it. So wonder Food, Very Clean, Wonderful Staff and a Wonderful meal. We will definitely be back to try other items and the Adult Milkshakes yum.

Waitress was very nice and made kept checking how everything was for food and it was very good. The only issue were the pickles very salty, otherwise everything was cooked properly and will definitely come back for dessert even though we couldn’t get any tonight because we were full. I would highly recommend more people to this diner.

I used to go to Dish n' Dat with my friends when it was still located at the Shops at Farmington Valley. I was recently in the area and decided to show my partner a restaurant that was so beloved by my adolescent self. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed in my most recent visit. The renovated location itself is fine, although the 50s Americana theming has been lost due to the layout of the restaurant. As a plus, parking is ample and accessible. However, it took us a fairly long time to be seated and we were left standing in the doorway wondering whether we seat ourselves or just wait. Additionally, the waitstaff was very busy which led to us not being checked on frequently. In terms of food, we ordered the Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts, Cabo Wabo Fish Tacos, and a hamburger California Style. The fried Brussel sprouts came with a delicious sauce, but the sprouts themselves were incredibly greasy. The tacos were fine, but that's it. My partner had the same sentiment about the burger: it was fine. Although the serving sizes were pretty large, I would have preferred less food and lower prices, as the meal itself was fairly expensive for diner food. Overall, the experience was fine, but my rose-shaded glasses for this restaurant have faded (I guess that's growing up lol) and I'm not sure how frequently I'll be returning.

Takeout review:I've ordered takeout here numerous of times since moving here. It's always my go to when we decide to do takeout. The food and service has been spot on. Everytime I call in and pick up the food, it's been prompt and a good experience.I've tried a few food items from here and they have been all my favorites:Angry Queen Bee Sandwich: tempura fried crispy chicken breast, brie, bacon, Sriracha honey, lettuce, tomato, red onion, on potato bread. This is definitely my favorite sandwich from here so far. The sweet and spicy flavor is my thing.Crispy Buffalo Mac n Cheese:Chicken poppers, buffalo sauce, and ranch. OMG, drool worthy; the crispy chicken and gooey Mac n cheese, and spicy buffalo sauce is a great combo.Double Porky Pig Mac n Cheese:Bacon bits, 24-hr slow cooked BBQ pulled pork. The sweet BBQ and cheesy Mac were also a delicious combo. The food has been great. I can't wait to dine in soon!

Visited this place a couple of weeks ago LOVED the food. Went back to try the potato salad and other items that looked delicious. The Reuben, burger, cole slaw and carrot cake were fantastic. So many things on the menu, we will go back to try more. Very attentive server and welcoming owner. All day breakfast!!! Happy to discover this local gem.Parking: plenty of spots, easy access
