Good food and service. Sat at the hibachi tables. Had an excellent chef and server. One thing to note: our party of 6 had a 20% gratuity added- pretty standard. BUT, 18% goes to the chef while only 2% goes to the server. Keep this in mind when squaring up your bill and make sure to take care of your servers!

????? Our visit to Mizu 21 Restaurant in Canton, CT, for a hibachi dinner was nothing short of spectacular, marking a special birthday celebration that will be cherished forever. Greeted by the serene ambiance of a water fountain at the entry, our experience started on a high note and only ascended from there. Seated in a private dining room, our large group of about 30 people, including six enthusiastic kids under five, was catered to by not one, but two skillful chefs, a dedicated waitress, and the attentive manager themselves. The culinary journey began with a variety of appetizers that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. From the intricately prepared sushi rolls to the perfectly seasoned edamame beans and flavorful wings, every appetizer was a hit. The hibachi chefs' performance was not only entertaining for all ages but also masterful, as they prepared delicious, cooked-to-order meals with portions generous enough to satisfy everyone. The atmosphere throughout our dining experience was exceptionally welcoming, enhanced by the meticulous cleanliness of the location and the friendliness of the staff. The teriyaki salmon and shrimp I personally enjoyed from the hibachi chef were divine, highlighting the quality and freshness of the ingredients used.Mizu 21 Restaurant truly stands out not just for its culinary excellence but also for its ability to create a memorable and engaging dining experience for groups and families of all sizes. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an exceptional hibachi dinner in a place where every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure guest satisfaction. We are already looking forward to our next visit! ????

This place is great! Our server, amy, was quick, friendly and helpful. The food came out very quickly and was perfect. Pad Thai could have been a bit spicier, but that's not a huge deal. The atmosphere was really nice too. The hibachi is far enough away that if you're in the dining room you can't really hear anything. We WILL be back!

Mizu is outstanding. I went with my wife and our family for her birthday and enjoyed a Hibachi dinner. The chef was excellent--the filet, lobster, scallops are all fresh and delicious. The chef was funny and warm, serving us extra sake. The whole experience was comfortable and genuine. Side note, while I'm no expert, they have a nice bar with an excellent selection of drinks, including a long list of Sake--hot and cold. Their house Sake is really good and reasonably priced. Besides hibachi their other dishes are made with care. Their Thai chicken is excellent and their sushi is made professionally, and again, the ingredients are fresh and high quality. Overall just a great experience. It's usually packed on the weekend, but parking is never a problem. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is super clean and well maintained. And the food is outstanding. Even their takeout--just ordered it--is well made, fast, and packed using quality containers.

I drive by this beautiful place every week and finally decided to try it with my sales team for lunch today.........OMG, hands down best takeout meal that the four of us have had in a long time. Kudos to you Mizu! You are absolutely fantastic and we can't wait to pick up our lunch with you again! I hope to eat in at some point, but even the take out was outstanding! You rock! :) Wendi V - Crescent Manufacturing, Burlington

The food was like they don't have a real Chef.It was frozen chicken patty, with some sauce drizzled over it.It is NOT like traditional "chinese" food. The food came out wrong, and my wife ate without me .Our waitress was excellent ! Other than that ,we dropped 100$ on a trick play.Didnt visit the habachi,go check that out yourself..

Tired of these so called Japanese sushi restaurants that dont know how to make sushi rice? Not impressed at all. Makes me wonder if the sushi chefs are trained to look for parasites ect? Btw sushi rice is made after cooking with Sake and mirin and mixed into the warm rice until cool.

First time there and it was on a Saturday evening, so be prepared to wait unless you booked reservations. They said the wait was 45 minutes and we waited about 35. The place was huge, parking was ample, and the ambiance was classy. We were sat at booth and ordered a scorpion bowl; it's a tiki drink that usually has rum, brandy, orange juice, and lemon juice (ingredients varies). I was excited because Florida establishmemts did not have this; it comes out in a big bowl and a shot that is lit up with fire in the middle. This drink was delicious. We also had the eel roll and Philadelphia roll, which were good. Now here is why I gave them three stars and maybe I'm just being generous. I ordered chicken pad Thai and they brought out chicken lo mein lol. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered a Thai dish that was on their menu at a Japanese spot. The saving grace was, it was good and my toddler (picky eater) devoured it. This review would have been two stars but, because of my toddler, I added another star. My spouse had the general tso chicken and he said that was only OK. Service was good too, food and drinks came out fast.Overall, when we do decide to go back, we will definitely make reservations and try the hibachi table out since that looked like fun and people seemed to enjoy it.
