There was a helpful, friendly, and open minded waitress that works there, I wish I had remembered her name, however she’s worked there for years from what me and my significant other were told. And let me explain, this place is BY FAR the best place to go when having a SEVERE Dairy Allergy! They care, go over the top for you and deserve the most credit! We loved the atmosphere, our fantastic waitress, and how we could grab Dairy Free food without any issues! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, because even if you don’t have a Dairy Free allergy, they still have some amazing, mouthwatering food!Dietary restrictions: Amazing place to go for severe Dairy Allergies!!!

This place is not clean. Picked up a menu and it had smudge marks and was sticky. Gross! Ordered a simple salad with grilled chicken. Waitress said no grilled chicken but could put it in the oven. I received ice cold shredded chicken with limp lettuce. Pizza was just okay! Will not go back

What a horrible experience. I've eaten there multiple times and it was very good. This past Saturday couldn't compare.First, I was given club soda instead of seltzer. The waitress claimed she didn't know the difference. Next, the onion rings were greasy and not all were cooked. 9 rings of various sizes for $9. My friend got the fries. They were also under cooked and his soda was flat. Because he doesn't like to call attention to himself I said nothing. His buffalo chicken sandwich was totally cold (the chicken was). My Anthony sandwich had less than 1/4 inch of eggplant and was overly cooked and deep fried dark.We returned the sandwiches. Paid for the rest, still left the waitress 20%, we decided it wasn't her fault. We like supporting local businesses and neither of us has returned a meal in years...but this was abissmal.

their flat bread sandwiches are to die for I have eaten them for years but now I'm retired and live 20 minutes away - it is a treat for sure!

I had the "Vinny" and it did not disappoint! BBQ chicken, bacon, gorgonzola, and onions grilled to perfection on Brickini bread! Our server, Jaden was amazing. He was very attentive, upbeat and informative. He made our first visit an impressionable one. It certainly won't be our last. The very few draw backs were small but noteable. Parking is a challenge on a busy night and our booth table had big gaps between the seated area and table on both sides. So in order to have the table closer, the person on the other side of the booth would have to lean forward. But again that is not a deal breaker and we will be adding The Plum Tomato to our list of favorite restaurants to frequent from now on.?Parking: It was a busy Friday night and we had to circle the lot until someone left

Word to the owner/management of this establishment and I hope you're paying attention. On the take-out side where you pick up pizzas, subs, etc. I see you have a small kitchen sink next to the cash register with a sign for your employees to WASH THEIR HANDS before returning to work. I have seen your employees handling cash/coins with their bare hands and then NOT WASHING THEIR HANDS before returning to handling the food. Get it Together Plum Tomato!!

Great pizza place! Thin crust all around, new haven style, and some very good selections. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Twice now food has been good and not at all over priced. It is a smaller restaurant, so plan accordingly for peak hours

Great atmosphere and out of the ordinary menu selection. Happy to see fried dough on the dessert menu. Will definitely be back to sample all the other interesting menu items.

Super fun spot, great quality food, fun atmosphere and fantastic beer list. The pizzas were soooo tasty and the kids food was yummy too. All in all a great spot for a bite and a bit of relaxation after a day at the beach or the seaport. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Chilli, pizza
