So sad, this business is closed for good. I went by it today and there's paper on the windows. The phone number is no longer going to the restaurant. It is a non-available number. The website is down. I have so many gift certificates for this restaurant because myself and my family love going here but we're not sure what was happening during the year and all those gift cards are, a total waste because I cannot ever use them again. I wish there was something I could do about it. I don't think I will ever buy gift cards again for any non-chain restaurant or store. I don't know what happened I don't understand but I can just say that they are definitely closed, and hopefully there's news that is going to come soon about why end may be another good Italian restaurant in its place or maybe someone can buy it.

I ordered, and paid for some catering items a few days before I needed it. When I went to pick it up. They didn't have it in their system. I was taking that on a trip out of town. This is the 2nd time this happened. Last time it was Christmas Eve. The staff was initially apologetic. But, did not even offer a coupon ,or discounted meal for their mistake. I left and told her that as a business, they should have offered me something. I had to come back inside to get a receipt for my refund. The staff apparently took offense to that. She was very disrespectful, and obnoxious. She even started to follow me out the door, like she wanted to fight. I told her that if she followed me out I would call the cops. I will never eat at this place again. They do not know how to treat their customers. And their staff are unprofessional and rude.

How are you going to charge 13 dollars for 8 pieces of ravioli. The delivery container looks like left overs.

the chicken Parmigiana grinders were awful. Thin frozen Pattie's not real cutlets. Friend ordered eggplant Parmigiana which was soggy not even breaded .

This used to be the best place in town to get calzones. Unfortunately, since new ownership, the food and service quality has hit rock bottom and I can't tell which is worse. Three times in the past couple of months I have ordered food here and all three times the order is wrong or disgusting. I asked to speak to a manager this time and learned that not only is there new ownership but also none of the staff speaks English. I spoke with Juan who said he is the new owner. He was rude and hung up while I was explaining what had been wrong with the order. I was very polite so I was confused as to why he hung up. I thought the call was accidentally disconnected so I called back to be hung up on again. My entire order was not only all wrong but also the garlic bread had mold on it!! Do not go here.

Worst meal ever! Used to love this place. The bread was stale. The meatballs were frozen (same as you get at stop & shop)Asked for soup instead of salad, since we ordered a large antipasto, which was $16 and smaller than a dinner salad. The balsamic dressing (served in a small 2oz plastic cup for takeout) had a clump of moldy nastiness in it. They charged $3 for the soup that replaced the salad. Was up charged for fradiavolo sauce because I asked for it instead of marinara. Got exactly the same marinara. The whole meal was disgusting and disappointing! No love/heart/effort put into anything! They won’t be there long!Really is a shame!

Should’ve read reviews before eating here. Music was blasting but there was no one there… food was fair at best… and that is being generous, ordered a Stromboli, got a calzone… the meatballs tasted like matzah balls. Pretty sure they aren’t even the #1 Italian restaurant in their parking lot… subway does Italian better than they do.

I used to really like this restaurant, but not anymore sadly. I don't know what happened - ownership change? The service was beyond horrible - one waitress (who was unfriendly). Everyone sitting in the restaurant looked miserable. I try to give restaurants a break after everything they have been through the last few years, but there was no excuse for this this type of bad service. People deaerve better when they go out to a restaurant. The food was just ok.

slowest service ever. Waited over an hour for 2 orders of stuffed shells and the restaurant was empty.Update. Food finally came. And it was not what we ordered. Stuffed shrimp is not stuffed shells.

The delivery was 20 min late. They gave us cheddar cheese jalapeño poppers instead of the cream cheese, which they went out of their way to advertise. Finally, the pizza was missing one of the selected ingredients. Overall, I could have made a better pizza and heated up some frozen poppers myself.

I hoped to post a great review. Unfortunately I knew something wasn't right when I noticed a mostly 85% empty Resturant on a Friday night. The entrance hallway light is out, I approach the pizza man and he's looking at his phone. I interrupted him and ask where do I order. I'd figure the three people behind the counter would've been excited to assist me, not so much. The man and woman continued to speak in Spanish and ignored me for at least 2-3 minutes. I finally ordered 2 orders of garlic knots and sauce @ $13. I was excited to give them to my wife until she opened the box and tried one... They barely had garlic on them and their sauce wasn't to her liking. Apparently this place has not lived up to the old Angie's just four years ago. I write this not as a bashing but as an eye opener with the hope they shape up.

Wife got the eggplant and thought it was average i got the chicken parmigiana, the chicken was so thin it was dried out. Generous portion but didn’t enjoy it. Lots of ziti but again just ok. On 1 waitress who was working hard 3 stars at best

Ordered lasagna. When I got home and open it up, I was beyond disappointed. It looked soupy. The meat, and cheese and the little amount of the pasta was flowing in sauce and meat. It had such a bitter taste to it. Never again. They need to get ltalians in there. I wound up throwing it out.

Rarely do I write a negative comments, but I have to speak my mind. Augie must have sold the business, not the same at all, service is way to slow, and unorganized. Even when ordering for takeout, you arrive 5 min after time advised, and they say 15 more min, after the 15 min they want you to wait again, more than 70+ min for your dinner, vattene a %@ngulo, I left. I wish I knew there was new mgmt, wouldnt have wasted my time. They seem overwhelmed, and clueless. Arrivederci Auguri sono finito con questa posto. They shouldn't try to live off a name they didn't make.

Quality has gone down hill.. shame on me for not knowing Augie sold it. I just ordered a 4 topping pizza… it came with barely any toppings but cheese.. so much cheese when you separated the slices, the cheese ripped right off. Someone also mentioned tasteless pizza and they’re right.. So gross and NOT #1..so many other places in Danbury area to order ITALIAN pizza from!
