Really nice assortment of beers. I visited not long before Christmas so there were a fair number of seasonal winter options, and I went with those.That said, my parents aren't as adventurous, so they went with the staples (mostly lagers). That we were all able to find something good is a testament to their variety.I really liked that the owners were behind the bar. That really seemed to add to the vibe, and they were very attentive. The tap room isn't fancy but doesn't need to be. Just a regular family-friendly vibe.

Check out this Brewery in Danbury! It's owned by the sweetest couple that have been crafting their own beer for 40 years before finally opening up their own place 7 years ago. They were so friendly and let us try every delicious brew! We got a really cool tour of the facility (which is spotless!) and got to see the whole set up from the grains and hops to the fermentation and kegging/canning. There is live music there Fri, sat and sun and they do events all the time that are donations to local charities. The beer is really good and they have different brews every few weeks!

After being turned away by Housatonic River Brewing because we had a 2 month old sleeping in a stroller with us, we went to Charter Oak Brewing. They welcomed us and we had some fantastic beers! The staff were personable and made sure we were taken care of, and we will definitely be back for more! We loved the Wadsworth and Juicy IPAs and ended up taking a few cans home. As new parents we are happy to find a place that we can visit and de-stress with our kiddo. Thank you!
