Not sure if being from NY and having great pizza is why.. but this was the worst pizza I’ve probably ever had. Smelled good, took one bite.. and it was awful. Heard so many good things about it from previous CT co workers, and it was so cute and packed inside, but it was truly disappointing. Did not finish the pie. Will not be going back.

Very upset... ordered a pizza with half bacon and the bacon is barely cooked. Hoping the broiler will help it.. I wish I looked at the reviews first because I now see this happened with someone else as well. Such expensive pizza for this to be happening!

Visited Danbury from Albany, NY and stopped here for food on the way home. It was SO good ! Great service, great food!Vegetarian options: The veggie pizza was SO good! Fresh veggies and also had the Broccoli and ricotta, the ricotta was really good! Could definitely taste a difference compared to pizza from home lol

When I ordered in person, the cashier did not take care, I received and paid for a pizza I did not order after going over details at least twice. I noticed a careless attitude as well as on one pizza the wrong topping when I got home, green peppers instead of red. I received a side of anchovies as compensation but the cheeseless pie did not have fresh garlic so that was useless as I never ordered a cheeseless pie or even mentioned that to her in my order. I have been going to Pepe from NY to Danbury since it opened and the last 8 years when I visit from Florida I always visit Pepe. I have frequented locations in Yonkers and New Jersey and both in New Haven! This was my first bad experience!But I respect what Frank has done for America, ?? and me , and will return to honor this family tradition! People make mistakes, no one is perfect, we forgive and move on! GBthis family !

The best pizza I've had in a long time. I like my pizza will done personally and the sauce was delicious. This place set the bar high, which is saying something being from New York. Very impressed.

Had the clam pie, epic. The service was top-notch. Our server suggested we sign up for their club, which cost us nothing and got $10 off our bill. A must if you are in the area.
